Lovely venue. Good welcome from manager on arrival. All main courses delicious. we chose one roast vegetable side...rather tiny!
That would be the only negative comment! We will definitely come back ....

Been coming to this restaurant for many years always always had excellent food , ambience and choice of menu. However this time I think there may be a new chef there was little on the menu any of us liked the steaks ordered were well done and not medium, i was looking forward to my lamb kidney fricasse to find out it was removed from the menu. What i had both courses were underwelming. I have to say the wait staff were very nice and attentitive.

Great food, lovely atmosphere, fab service and great value. Impossible to choose a favourite dish as the four of us had different but equally good courses.

Excellent choices for a lunchtime menu of good quality dishes. Flavours and presentation were brilliant, service was at tentative and excellent. Overall, the experience was excellent and fairly priced so that it represented very good value for money. Favourite dishes were the bavette of beef, the pithivier of mushroom and leek, the panacotta with blood orange and the rhubarb crumble all of which were superb.

Lovely rural setting with a modern interior. Staff professional and attentive. Menu replete (but not crowded) with exquisite dishes, appropriately priced.
