Presenting a cool and casual setting, TGI Friday's Prestwich invites diners to enjoy tasty stateside fare and a wide range of cocktails. The large dining area features American diner-style furnishings offset by a buzzing bar.
Jam-packed juicy burgers are the highlight of the TGI Friday’s menu. Enjoy prime cuts of British Isles beef topped with a range of exciting ingredients, like the ‘Bruce Lee’ with spicy Asian slaw, crispy noodles and jalapenos. An American grill menu serves up hearty dishes like tender rump steak, baby back pork ribs glazed in Jack Daniel’s, and Cajun-battered shrimp.
Famed for its fantastic cocktail selection, diners at TGI Friday's can challenge bar tenders to rustle up a mix from its 500-strong list, like the classic strawberry daiquiri, or the signature raspberry-spiked Haymarket. Cooling slushes, chilled beers, wines and thick shakes are also on offer.
Located just off the M60, TGI Friday's in Prestwich is a great place to unwind with a meal or drink.

After the meal my husband spoke to the duty manager about the following;
We have always enjoyed going to the Prestwich TGIs, and on this night the food and service was very good. However, a deep clean was conducted on our section of the restaurant. There was only our table taken, all the others were vacant as staff were clearly no longer seating people in this section, because of the deep clean. We asked the duty manager why were we not moved away from this? Nobody wants to see food being picked out of furniture whilst eating their meal! The duty manager said to my husband "thank you for pointing this out". She had clearly asked for this to be done, and lead us to believe she had not noticed. Due to being the only table with people sat around it in our section, the ambience was extremely poor. The restaurant is usually thriving however it was not on Sunday night, which is unlike TGI fridays.
I simply ordered a gin and tonic which arrived with no slice of lemon, considering TGIs has mixologists, this is an important detail missed.
My daughter asked for a mudslide or a milkshake and was told there is no ice cream. She then ordered a Coke Zero which had also "ran out". The mozzarella dippers soon followed on the out of stock list.
This is such a shame because we love the restaurant and return time and time again, and this particular night we were celebrating my daughters completion of second year at university.
I believe it will be a long time before we visit again, if ever.

It was friendly service. Didn't have to wait too long for food. And the food was excellent.

Ordered beef chilli nachos to share.. not a single piece of beef in sight... when complaining was told it was chilli sauce! Wonder what the chicken nachos was then.... chicken sauce???
Also then out order was wrongly taken down (error... waiter apologised) which meant an extra 15 min wait for my chicken fajitas, other diners had finished.
This was removed from the bill however, but not a great experience.

Fantastic service. We travelled from Newcastle and had car trouble and then stuck in a traffic jam. We were 90 minutes late and guys were so nice as we were surprising my best friend for her 40th. My partner had to go out and see AA and whilst his meal came out the manager offered to cook it again when he came back. So kind and helpful after such a stressful journey. Thanks team! Overall experience was very poor,6 of us were placed on a table in a corner that was far too small and difficult for our party to access.The starters came and the nachos were cold soggie and tastless,the gap between our starters and mains was also far too long.
After we finished our mains we seemed to be forgotten about and left with our used plates , even though I asked several times for the dessert menu our server just kept walkiing past in a daze and struggled to understand what we were requesting, the dinning room was virtually empty by this time.Our dinning took 2 1/2 hours overall and we had a small baby with us who became very cranky after this time.
Very disapointed as this was supposed to be my daughters birthday celebration

Quite good at burgers, totally rubbish at preparing anything else. Clear that things are kept under heat lamps for for too long and that the kitchen both lack the ability to cook food in this kind of chaos - or to make anything which goes beyond putting burgers between two halfs of a bread bun. Frozen chips, literally, super greasy Tostado which arrived on a warm plate but fridge cool food jumbled on top, terrible burnt oily cold bread, bullet prawns totally dry and cheese near freezing (its all supposed to be hot) Drink brimming with ice as 'company policy' apparently, the 'drink' part of the drink was about 5% of the glass. Oh and one hour 15 mins to receive our food. Never ever again.

Slow service. Price gone up too much. How they can charge £1.50 for a coke for a child yet same size for an adult is £2.99 is disgusting.
