Close to the Princes Mall Shopping Centre, TGI Friday’s Edinburgh entices diners with its exciting American cuisine. Enjoy a fine selection of steaks, grills and burgers and freshly-stirred cocktails are served at the bar.

Jam-packed juicy burgers are the highlight of the TGI Friday’s menu. Enjoy prime cuts of British Isles beef topped with a range of exciting ingredients, like the ‘Bruce Lee’ with spicy Asian slaw, crispy noodles and jalapenos. An American grill menu serves up hearty dishes like tender rump steak, baby back pork ribs glazed in Jack Daniel’s, and Cajun-battered shrimp.

Famed for its fantastic cocktail selection, diners at TGI Friday's can challenge bar tenders to rustle up a mix from its 500-strong list, like the classic strawberry daiquiri, or the signature raspberry-spiked Haymarket. Cooling slushes, chilled beers, wines and thick shakes are also on offer.

TGI Friday’s in Edinburgh is an ideal venue for relaxed American dining. Edinburgh Waverley Station and Scottish National Gallery are a 10-minute walk away.

Good atmosphere, service was good and the meal was fine. Not top quality but good all the same.

We arrived an hour early and asked if there was any chance of dining earlier. No problem for the staff, by time we went to the bar to get a drink, we were shown ro our table, which happened to be the same table we sat at 2 years prior !
Service fantastic, all staff very friendly. Food arrived promptly and was delicious and hot. At desert 4 staff members sang the TGIF birthday song to my daughter.
No nasty surprises with the bill either, very reasonaby priced. Overall a great dining experience.

Disappointing to say the least. Music was far too loud and no im not too old for loud music but when I'm out for something to eat with my family and I literally cannot have a conversation with my son sitting directly opposite me then that's too loud.!!! Ruined the whole experience for us, it was my son's first day at college and he couldnt even tell me about it.!! Food was way overpriced for what you got and the chips were overcooked yet cold on the plate when we got them, I should have complained but as we were going to the firework display so we didnt have time to wait about (this is why I booked in advance). Overall it was a major disappointment for us, certainly wont be going back, there's plenty of other places to eat in Edinburgh that are far better value for money & qualityof food, think TGI Fridays is just running off its brand name now, it maybe used to be the 'in place' to eat but not anymore. Shame because the central location is lovely and its where the kids (teenagers) wanted to eat but even they said they wont go back so that shows how bad it was.!!

The Jack Danial's rib is too sweet. The burger is just ok.
