TGI Friday’s Birmingham is a buzzing, family-friendly restaurant serving eclectic American dishes. Diners can unwind with a cocktail in the alfresco area or enjoy a selection of steaks and grills indoors.

Jam-packed juicy burgers are the highlight of the TGI Friday’s menu. Enjoy prime cuts of British Isles beef topped with a range of exciting ingredients, like the ‘Bruce Lee’ with spicy Asian slaw, crispy noodles and jalapenos. An American grill menu serves up hearty dishes like tender rump steak, baby back pork ribs glazed in Jack Daniel’s, and Cajun-battered shrimp.

Famed for its fantastic cocktail selection, diners at TGI Friday's can challenge bar tenders to rustle up a mix from its 500-strong list, like the classic strawberry daiquiri, or the signature raspberry-spiked Haymarket. Cooling slushes, chilled beers, wines and thick shakes are also on offer.

TGI Friday’s in Birmingham is a 5-minute drive from Five Ways Rail Station.

Arrived at 4pm and seated at 4.05 great. Waiter came and took order for drinks and food and 4.20 then took 5pm with starters arriving at 4.50. Then we waited no one asked if we wanted another refill we had to ask then wait until 5.40 until another drink arrived. At 5.45 we asked where our main meals where and were told they will be with us shortly. Food arrived at 6.05 two of the meals had t be sent back wrong food delivered to table one came back correct the other meal was incorrect no one asked how meals were we had to ask to speak to someone about the mix up , no one came and asked if we would like refills and although we did get a discount it spoilt our night as we were celebrating our mums birthday. Total shambles !! If I could score this experience as a minus it might make up for the shambolic experience.

Worst night we have ever had!

I went to TGI FRIDAY for a birthday celebration the lady who greeted us was rude, we ordered our food but we waited 45 mins for it to arrive it was warm I don't think I will go back. Our table waiter was OK though.

Everything was brilliant, from arrival to paying the bill (well perhaps not the bill!). The pulled pork starter was divine - we all tried this. The mains we all had our usual favourites and they were as brilliant as always. We never have room for desserts hence two cocktails! The only criticism is two of the cocktails - the Singapore sling was like water and some of the usual ingredients were not listed/included and the peach mocktail was almost tasteless. It was on a previous occasion but I thought it was a one off.

Food quality has definitely improved over last couple of years. It's fresh and loads tastier.

Atmosphere was nice welcoming and family friendly.
However there was a draft by the booth seat area. The cola chicken wings are amazing(prepare for sticky fingers), the jack Daniels chicken main and brownie dessert is to die for.
However, we felt rushed when had the starter..before we could finish lick our fingers they took it away and gave us our main..we should have been asked if we'd finished our starter and would we like our main meal. The dessert was shoved under our noses while we were having a conversation..we felt we were rushed to finish our meal. A part from that..the food was good..expense but nice for a treat.
