TGI Friday’s Birmingham is a buzzing, family-friendly restaurant serving eclectic American dishes. Diners can unwind with a cocktail in the alfresco area or enjoy a selection of steaks and grills indoors.

Jam-packed juicy burgers are the highlight of the TGI Friday’s menu. Enjoy prime cuts of British Isles beef topped with a range of exciting ingredients, like the ‘Bruce Lee’ with spicy Asian slaw, crispy noodles and jalapenos. An American grill menu serves up hearty dishes like tender rump steak, baby back pork ribs glazed in Jack Daniel’s, and Cajun-battered shrimp.

Famed for its fantastic cocktail selection, diners at TGI Friday's can challenge bar tenders to rustle up a mix from its 500-strong list, like the classic strawberry daiquiri, or the signature raspberry-spiked Haymarket. Cooling slushes, chilled beers, wines and thick shakes are also on offer.

TGI Friday’s in Birmingham is a 5-minute drive from Five Ways Rail Station.

Jubilant atmosphere, took me by surprise. Enjoyed the food personally I thought it was slightly substandard i.e. The steak was hard and the fries slightly cold. The nachos were appalling, I hated the fact they used lettuce and chopped vegetables in salad dressing which made them taste insepid. The chocolate orange brownie I had was not exceptional and I thought it was overbearingly sweet to the extent I tried to salt the dish to try to improve it but I have to say the prosecco was nice and cold, the atmosphere was good and I would imagine the food would be a lot nicer had I not pre ordered and ordered my food fresh.

The food was lovely. Waiter was rude and made no effort with us but did with others around. Would go back but would not have the same waiter.

Been dining at Friday's for many a year, even when on the very first day of opening - believe over 30 years ago!

It has got progressively worse, food for this booking was overdone and dry, service was ok but nowhere near the attentive standards I've been used to! We booked for 7.00pm and were seated late, the table was not clean and there was no cutlery! It was difficult at times to get waitress's attention and also to add to it all, my 11 year old son was given and charged for an adults refillable drink not a child's one! Call me cynical but another way to screw a bit more money out of us onto the bill!

This was done for my partner' birthday and she wasn't really impressed - to the point where we really probably won't go again despite having been customers on and off for 30 years!

Overall disappointed and really quite sad about it!

Feel this has now become a look over substance venue, and they are relying on this and letting the fundamental standards they are there for, food and service, to slip!

If they continue to rely on this perhaps it's the start of a slippery slope!
