Not the cafe royal I was expecting! Price on menu was lower than bookatable price yet we had to pay higher rate.
Pianist was great playing fantastic music. Food was exquisite but shame about the sloppy service from waitress. She needs further training as she splashed drinks on me whilst pouring and laughing (giggling) when serving mains.
Cleaner appears out of the blue and starts mopping floor near our table! I went into gents and same lady cleaner was there! Poor management.

Food was excellent. Drinks are expensive. Over £11.00 for a glass of house wine.

Was greater by a very nice waiter, given a very large glass of champagne, the Starter was lovely, main course was a bit disappointing reminded us a bit of a roast chicken school dinner, The dessert was also a bit dissapojting supposed to be a trifle but more like a mouse. The service in general was good but waited a long time for our dessert. We were charged £10 for s bottle of water but wasn't offered the option of having tap!! and then a further 12.5% on top which bumped up the price overall a bit disappointed In the ambiance felt a bit cafe like not a luxurious as we had envisaged

Very nice ambiance, friendly stuff and good food. Great menu with reasonable prices. Perfect for lunch if you are in central London. I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent friendly service and lovely surroundings complemented great food with the pianist providng the icing on the cake. My only criticism is that I thought the wine was a bit expensive.

We were more than happy with our choice of venue to celebrate my birthday. The service was excellent but not intrusive. I have an allergy to lavendar and the head barman personally tweaked the gin cocktail for us. We had chosen the Taste of London menu and it exceeded our expecttions. It ws a saturday lunchtime and the world outside was loud and crowded but we felt none of that in the stunning surroundings with wonderful floral displays. We'll definitely be going back again.
