We had a great time eating at Paul Tower 42. The food and service were very good, and we were served quickly. We would definitely recommend it.

No chardonnay no sauvignon no rose
Food was nice but how can a place like Paul in the City run out of wine?

First time at Paul's for a sit down breakfast, it is a regular haunt for the evenings and the "Petit Dejeuner Complet" was extremely good and also great value when compared to many other City restaurants. Nothing was greasy, the freshly baked bread just perfect - this is likely to quickly become a regular place for breakfast as well! Service prompt and polite as always, you never feel rushed at Paul's.

Another great meal at Paul's yesterday, my steak was just a touch over medium but was still very good. Service courteous and efficient as always, remains a firm favourite in the City. Still missing the French music though......

Great food, but incredibly slow service. The waiter was slow both to take our order and to bring us our food.

Another great evening at Paul's - this time, I tried the burger and my friend had the vegetable ravioli, both very tasty dishes. Cocktails were really good, one of the reasons my friends and I regularly return to Paul's - the service professional and polite as always and the music at a better level to past visits so you could easily hold a conversation over dinner as well (it had been very loud during a previous visit).

Not a great experience. The food took 1 hour to arrive despite us telling Staff that One of our party needed to leave in 1 hour. So she left without any lunch. 3 meals arrived but mine did not until another 10 mins later and was slightly cold. There was some bickering over the bill re the missed meal.

This latest visit was for lunch and the service at Paul's was excellent as always, the restaurant team were courteous and polite. We opted for a light lunch and had eggs benedict and also smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, both served on toast. The sauce on the eggs benedict was very good and the smoked salmon soft and very light so we were both pleased with our choices.

As always, the service at Paul's was excellent when I dined there last week - my steak requested as medium was cooked perfectly pink and the cocktails remain the best I've had in the Square Mile by far. One slight down side was that the music seems to have changed from traditionally French to pop music and the volume has been turned up several notches which isn't good when you want to eat and have a conversation yet find yourself shouting at your friends........I'd like the traditional French music to return too, that added a lovely touch in such a cosy restaurant. So the ambience has been marked down for this point, loud music is fine for bars but not for restaurants.
