A bubble of tranquility in Europe’s largest shopping centre, Strada Westfield is perched next to the magnificent Olympic Park. Italian delicacies are crafted in the flashy open kitchen.
Strada Italian restaurants are all about fresh, real Italian food. Made-from-scratch risottos, stone-baked pizzas, artisan ice cream, incredible Italian wines and coffee make up the Strada menu, and all meat and fish is cooked from fresh. A lengthy stock of premium ingredients includes higher welfare, grain-fed beef from Northamptonshire, found in Strada’s juicy taleggio burgers, and on a list of prime steaks.
Free Wi-Fi is offered throughout Strada restaurants, and cosy booths are the perfect setting for a cake-and-espresso pit stop. Not forgetting little foodies, the kids’ menu features miniature versions of delicious Italian classics.
Bright and glossy, Strada restaurant offers an open setting on the 2nd floor Westfield Stratford City. Stratford Rail Station sits adjacent to the shopping centre.

I visited with my partner following an afternoon cinema trip (Vue is on the same level as Strada in the Westfield Shopping Centre.). There are two distinct areas of the restaurant an inside area and a terrace area. We dined in the latter. Considering the location in a huge shopping centre there was a good atmosphere with a general buzz without being too noisy. It was easy to forget you were in a shopping centre and it felt quite cosy despite actually being quite alarge restaurant. We had booked online having been sent a £10.95 for two courses offer via email. The menu provided did not mention the £10.95 offer so we assumed we could order a starter and main course fom that menu. When the waiter came to take our order I informed him that we had the voucher for the offer. At this point we were provided wit a different menu specific to the offer. This was disappointing in two ways. Firstly, the fact that there was a menu with two courses for £10.95 made us feel we weren't getting an offer at all, we had just been duped into eating from a regular but restricted menu. secondly, as the deal menu was so restricted compared to the main menu where we had already chosen meals no longer avaialble under the offer. Anyway my salmon was delicious although partner's risotto was a bit watery and bland. The house red which accompanied our meal was excellent. Service was fine without being anything to write home about.

The food was very good and our waiters were very attentive and friendly.
I booked on a special offer menu but when we arrived this was not available so had to choose from the standard menu. I was not offered anything by way of compensation.
I thought the meal represented good value for money though not all my party thought their food was well cooked. I really enjoyed my meal. The menu and drinks range was good too.

Very efficient service. I was pleased about the level of gold customer service received and will be dining at Strada again.

One particular waiter ignored us multiple times. The rest were helpful.
The seats were not properly cleaned as they had a lot of left-over spilled juice/beer.
Pizza was good, decent size.

I took some of my cycling club members to this Resturant last year and received great service and food. So I decided to return again this year for our pre Prudential Ride London meal. I had booked 24 seats and phoned 2 weeks before to confirm all was ok. There was 19 of us on Saturday and that was a relief as your Resturant failed to cope let alone if there had been 24. The initial service of drinks was very slow and they had run out of large Peroni. Food orders were eventually taken after a 45 minute wait and most did arrive. However, things really started to go wrong with the mains when over a third of my 19 diners didn't receive theirs. When I asked where they were I was told by the manager that she was sorry but so was overwhelmed and the waiter should have told us to expect delays. He hadn't, it took over 38 minutes for the last mains to arrive by which time all the other diners had finished. There were other issues with the deserts and the bill. The manager did apologise and discounted the bill by £100 but to be honest I can't see me returning next year with my cycling club. It is a real shame as we could have made this an annual booking. You clearly don't need our business.
