Housed within the bustling International Convention Centre, Strada Birmingham offers a varied menu of contemporary Mediterranean dishes in a bright, contemporary setting. The restaurant boasts a canal side location with al fresco dining in the summer months.

Strada Italian restaurants are all about fresh, real Italian food. Made-from-scratch risottos, stone-baked pizzas, artisan ice cream, incredible Italian wines and coffee make up the Strada menu, and all meat and fish is cooked from fresh. A lengthy stock of premium ingredients includes higher welfare, grain-fed beef from Northamptonshire, found in Strada’s juicy taleggio burgers, and on a list of prime steaks.

Free Wi-Fi is offered throughout Strada restaurants, and cosy booths are the perfect setting for a cake-and-espresso pit stop. Not forgetting little foodies, the kids’ menu features miniature versions of delicious Italian classics.

Within a minute's walk of the Symphony Hall and Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Birmingham Strada is a perfect venue for a pre-theatre or pre-concert meal.

A very disappointing starter -bruschetta with tomatoes. Halved cherry tomatoes with big chunks of garlic. Not very refined. An OK tagliatelle bolognese. Wouldn't go again.

Food was great really enjoyed this tried some new options. The restaurant was really empty which was weird as it is quite large. Cocktails were good and the view of the canal. Server took plates before my daughter was quite finished. She did not mind I did.

Nice restaurant setting with lighting and music. Was very cold though as it opened up to the canal so had a terrible draft coming through when people entered the restaurant. They really need to lock the canal side doors in the winter to make it more comfortable for diners.
Waitresses were not very friendly and cleared starters away when we hadn't finished. They got one of our mains wrong and then tried to give us a completely different dish even though we didn't want it. Then was told the dish ordered has now run out so had to wait for a new dish to be cooked whilst my party had already been served and were eating. Finally was charged for an additional main on our bill and our bill needed correcting twice.
Have eaten here last summer and had a great experience. The food and drink was very nice but spoiled by the waitress experience. We will not be returning.

Great service especially as we were having a pre theatre meal and therefore in a bit of a hurry

Food was good quality and great value for money.

A very pleasant meal with good service. Not too keen on loud background music, but OK after we'd moved away from it.

Lovely restaurant. Would happily attend again in the future

Good service with friendly staff but food disappointing. Bread basket was a plate of old bread which had been toasted. The only red wine available was£6.45 for a small glass. Anything less expensive had been 'sold out'. We shared a vegetable pasta dish and pizza and neither of us felt well later that night.
