Housed within the bustling International Convention Centre, Strada Birmingham offers a varied menu of contemporary Mediterranean dishes in a bright, contemporary setting. The restaurant boasts a canal side location with al fresco dining in the summer months.

Strada Italian restaurants are all about fresh, real Italian food. Made-from-scratch risottos, stone-baked pizzas, artisan ice cream, incredible Italian wines and coffee make up the Strada menu, and all meat and fish is cooked from fresh. A lengthy stock of premium ingredients includes higher welfare, grain-fed beef from Northamptonshire, found in Strada’s juicy taleggio burgers, and on a list of prime steaks.

Free Wi-Fi is offered throughout Strada restaurants, and cosy booths are the perfect setting for a cake-and-espresso pit stop. Not forgetting little foodies, the kids’ menu features miniature versions of delicious Italian classics.

Within a minute's walk of the Symphony Hall and Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Birmingham Strada is a perfect venue for a pre-theatre or pre-concert meal.

Well situated next to Symphony Hall. Good atmoshere. Reasonably priced and varied menu. Food freshly cooked and well presented. Good service from our friendly waitress IRYNA. Restaurant is used by pre-season diners so it's worth booking.

Could not fault the service, but the pasta was disappointing. Both my tagliatelle and my mum's penne had clearly been sitting for quite some time, and I suspect had then been reheated with appropriate sauce. Still, when my mum did voice our concerns she was offered a free dessert.

Food. Excellent, although advertised offer not available. Spoilt by slow service, had to cancel coffee as too slow. This restaurant has a prime position by symphony hall and needs to be aware that early diners are probably concert goers.

We arrived a little early but were greeted well and offered to sit anywhere in the restaurant, we picked a window table so we could watch the world go by! The staff were friendly and very professional together with good food made our dining experience very pleasurable.

Very polite waitress who was very accommodating. Service was slow though considering we dined early evening and it wasn't that busy. Food was hot and flavoursome, but portion sizes on set menu were poor considering it was pasta.

Dessert was delicious and this portion size was generous.

I was very happy with how we were treated by such friendly staff. They assisted and helped with everything and more. I would highly recommend my friends and family coming back here. Fabulous resturant and the food was amazing! Thank you

Food was ok. Nduja sausage on pizza was pretty heavenly. Bruschetta was tasteless, cook the tomato to add juice and add pesto for flavour and they'll be much better. Pasta dishes were reasonably well received. Range of puddings was small and the lemon cheesecake needed more lemon.
Service was polite, but incredibly slow. Only 1 round of drinks provided. Had to ask for the bill 4 times. 2 hours wasn't enough so it got tense by the end as we were attending to concert at the Symphony Hall.
7 people, incl 1 pregnant, were squashed onto a table for 6, so certainly not a luxury evening. Pizza Express is a much more pleasant dining experience and the food is better and cheaper so going there next time.

Very busy restaurant so always good to book. Service and food was ok, slow though. Large glasses of wine brought and we were not asked what size glass we wanted. A small glass was all I wanted so lots went to waste, sadly. I should have said. It's very convenient decent food. Not exciting though.
