Absolutely superb quality food and service. The manageress was particularly charming and nothing was too much trouble for her. We had a Roast Turkey meal which was excellent value and beautifully presented. This is a very upmarket pub in an exquisite mews setting.

Once a popular hangout for London’s criminals, Star Tavern now enjoys an enviable reputation, with listings in the Good Food and Good Beer Guides. Enjoy delicious English cuisine, Cask Marque ales and international spirits next to the cosy open fireplaces.

Alongside classic British dishes, the Star Tavern menu features an international fare such as lamb skewers served with Greek salad, and pork stroganoff with sautéed mushrooms and basmati rice. Burgers at Star Tavern London come loaded with beef, harissa-marinated chicken, pork and chorizo, and falafel and spinach.

Sandwiches are served at lunchtime, and the Saturday menu includes a refreshing selection of snacks like salt and Szechuan pepper squid with sweet chilli dip. Enjoy a hearty Sunday roast at the Star Tavern Fuller’s pub, served with crispy roast potatoes and gravy.

Widely recognised as one of the best pubs in Belgravia, the Star Tavern is quietly tucked away between Sloane Street and Hyde Park. Knightsbridge Tube Station is an 8-minute walk away.

I got a 20% discount voucher on food for my birthday so I decided to celebrate with my friends at the pub after our day out at winter wonderland. We got a really cosy table near the fire. The drinks were perfect for a cold winters day, hot mulled cider and a guest porter ale. We also had a lovely Chilean Malbec. Food was decent. The staff especially the manager who I think is called Marta was excellent. She accommodated for all our needs and went over and beyond. I often visit this pub after work meetings and I like that it never gets too busy. It also has a very interesting past! We will be coming back.

A beautifully old and atmospheric pub, with plenty of room upstairs and down, with good-value food, excellent whiskies, and pleasant service.

Very cool traditional pub, good beer, good food, nice settings. If I should give one good advice, it would be to replace the polenta with mash - the stew was really good in it self.

Lunch was unhurried (though promptly served) in a traditional, welcoming pub environment. Menu included many pub classics (such as the chicken, ham and leek pie which was great) and several other items that went beyond ordinary fare (such as mackerel pate, cheese with beetroot etc for starters and sea bass fillets for mains). There were at least four options for veggies (although disappointingly one was 'off' the day we visited). Great wines and beers. Go there!
