Renowned for its bar pillars bearing the names of wartime heroes, St Leonards Hotel Ringwood is a welcoming retreat on the fringes on the New Forest. The cosy and distinctive dining area features candle-lit tables, Chesterfield sofas and an inglenook fireplace.

Specialising in trusty, home-cooked British recipes, the St Leonards Hotel menu is made up of time-honoured classics and inventive chef’s specials. The signature beef & ale pie is a creation from much-loved celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, while favourite world flavours include sizzling steak fajitas, or aubergine and roast beetroot curry. Gourmet sandwiches and jacket potatoes are served throughout the day, and guests can round things off with an indulgent crumble, cheesecake or sundae.

The drinks list at St Leonards Hotel pub features carefully-chosen beers and international wines, and a lengthy list of soft drinks. Younger diners are not forgotten, with a varied menu for both lunch and dinner, and a mini roast served on Sundays.

With an ideal location at St Leonards-on-Sea, St Leonards Hotel is a great base to explore the south coast. Moors Valley Country Park Rail Station is a 3-minute drive away.

We would never dine there again, the service was diabolical, the staff ignored us. We had to ask for everything. The food wasn't as ordered, our sweets we had to eat with soup spoons. Needs I say more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
