Close to Westminster Cathedral & Buckingham Palace Road, St George’s Tavern serves up delicious British dishes in a cosy traditional pub setting. In the 1800s, the building was converted from a restaurant into an entertainment saloon – one of the first of its kind in London.

With Nicholson’s pubs first established in 1873, the fleet has become synonymous with warm hospitality, hearty pub food and a speciality stock of ales. Constantly-featuring recipes are bolstered by a seasonally-changing range of specials on the Nicholson’s menu, with favourites including home-breaded chicken Kiev, or a sharing cottage pie. Also enjoy old-school desserts and nourishing breakfasts.

At the Nicholson’s bar, expect to find 25 guest ales changing with the seasons, a resident cask master, and carefully-matched ale and food pairing suggestions. Compiled with equal care, the St George’s Tavern drinks list features easy drinking wines, artisan soft drinks and classic cocktail mixes.

St George’s Tavern in Pimlico is a 5-minute walk from London Victoria Rail & Tube Station.

Thoroughly enjoyable Sunday lunch with friends. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and service and food were great.

Visited on Sunday, daughter wanted the Sunday lunch beef but was not available. Otherwise service was good, food was excellent and it was very good value. Certainly go again.

Glad we booked it before going, it was really busy. Service was good! Having 30% off on all food was a great offer.
