Great food and service. Freshest whitebait ever and the fish stew was amazing. Slightly upset when my friends roast beef arrived...talk about food envy. Leave room for the chocolate/peanut tart.

An award-winning foodie haven, St Clement’s showcases honest British cuisine, with a special focus on fish and seafood. As well as achieving a coveted Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2012, praise comes courtesy of seafood expert, Rick Stein.

Offering a wholesome, honest selection of dishes weaved with quirky St Clement’s twists, favourites include Spanish fish stew with chick peas and chorizo, or baked scallops with lemongrass and chilli. Striving to source from local stocks and using simple, trusty cooking techniques, natural flavours shine through on the St Clement’s menu.

Creative and cleansing treats for desserts include elderflower jelly with summer fruits, or caramelised apricot tart. Testament to its mentions in The Good Food and Hardens guides, St Clement’s in St Leonards-on-Sea showcases a sensitively-compiled list of wines.

Enjoying a faithful foodie following, beautifully understated St Clement’s restaurant is an 8-minute walk from St Leonards Warrior Square Rail Station.

Deeeeelicious brunch. Prefect poached eggs on bubble and squeak.

I love this restaurant, over the past year I've eaten lunches, dinners and now brunch. Each visit has been a real pleasure, the food is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and informative about the dishes and wines, nothing is too much trouble.
The restaurant is inviting, uncluttered and has a great atmosphere.
How lucky to have such a place in St Leonards.
