Ken Hom's award-winning Sri Nam is a fine Thai restaurant in Canary Wharf, treating diners to a Pan-Asian menu in a sumptuous Thai dining room. Sri Nam also has a chic informal café bar and offers free Wi-Fi.

Lavish and spacious, Sri Nam restaurant gives diners a feel of Asia with elegant Oriental patterns and traditional Asian ornaments. A mainstay in the Canary Wharf dining scene, Sri Nam is a precious jewel in the crown of London's Docklands.

The Sri Nam menu features specialties such as pla cod neaung, a steamed fillet of black cod with Thai green pesto and crispy holy basil, as well as a wide variety of chargrills, curries and noodles. Children's portions are available and vegetarians will enjoy dishes like wok fried egg noodles and kaeng pak, a mild creamy mixed vegetable curry.

Sri Nam Canary Wharf offers quick and informative service, adding to the friendly and vibrant ambience. Private dining is available for intimacy away from the lively buzz of this London restaurant.

Absolutely terrible I'm sorry to say. 7 of us went for a birthday meal at 2pm, only for a grumpy waitress to try and squeeze us onto a 6 seater table though the restaurant had only 1 party on it. The restaurant lacked atmosphere: no music, no sound, just staff hurrying us up to order before the kitchen closed at 3. They said because it does, that starters and mains would come at the same time. As soon as we ordered starters (6 different items) they were on our table! Literally within 3 minutes. Absolutely no way that these were not pre-made/left out and simply heated before being served to us; extremely disappointing point!!! I've worked in Canary Wharf for 6 years and been to most restaurants here - this is by far the worst dining experience on every level that any one of the 7 of us had experienced in the area. We should have simply walked out after the poor greeting we received and tried anywhere else nearby, but fancied Thai and really do not have any other options in the area for it; a real gap in the market I think...

Second visit to this restaurant, quite pricy as portion size is quite small. Food however very good, quick service, nice ambience.
