My guests commented that it had the right mixture of unpretentious dining with with good food and friendly, efficient service. Very busy and with a definite buzz. Notwithstanding we could hear each other clearly which is sometimes not the case in a busy restaurant..

Cosy restaurant, friendly service and nice ambience. Food ok spicy chicken very good. Lamb seemed very small portion. Got evening deal so was ok.

I have lunched here many times and always enjoy the relaxed feel and excellent ambience, whether you sit inside, downstairs, upstairs or on the outside. Patio heaters and large sunshades do what is needed to make it comfortable at any time of the year and in any weather! It gets very busy but, somehow, the staff remain calm and attentive.

Lovely food - but the inside is very crammed. You are so close to other tables you can hear their conversations and reach their tables!
