In the exclusive London neighbourhood of Mayfair, sketch Gallery presents an impressive gastronomic dining experience. The restaurant spans over 4 spaces, serving everything from afternoon teas to exquisite European cuisine.

The Gallery, a unique and vibrant gastro-brasserie, lies at the heart of sketch. Conceived by visual artist and Turner Prize nominee David Shrigley, the latest exhibit features farcical, amusing drawings as an artistic backdrop. The imaginative menu is devised by French Master Chef Pierre Gagnaire, and award-winning wines and fabulous service will ensure a magical dining experience. Exclusively at weekends, the Gallery will also host sketch's enchanting afternoon teas.

sketch – Mayfair features multiple dining areas, each one offering a sophisticated and unique haven in which to enjoy delectable dishes. The 2 Michelin-starred and 5 AA Rosette award-winning Lecture Room & Library is a stunning fine dining room, whilst The Glade exudes an ambience of an enchanted fairy tale forest serving afternoon tea and cocktails at night. The Parlour presents a quirky alternative, with Louis XV seating throughout, and serves breakfast, comfort food and teas.

After hearing great things about Sketch I decided to book a table on the Friday night for myself and my boyfriend as a joint birthday treat. We travelled down from Manchester & I was really looking forward to my evening and I was excited to experience the grandeur of Sketch that I had seen and heard about. On arrival we checked in with the front of house- the lady on the desk was ridiculously rude, patronising and incredibly pretentious.... Scoffing at us for having the earliest table slot (at 6.30pm) telling us we were early and to wait in the bar. We had never been before and the venue is very large and she literally batted us away without informing us of where to go. Not a great first point of contact after just walking through the door! We made our way to a dimly black bar which we ultimately found ourselves after the front of house being no help whatsoever! The bar was over crowded and we had to stand after being charged an obscene amount of money for 2 single spirit mixers. The experience of The Gallery however was sensational- the food was delicious, the staff attentive and there was a particularly lovely older French man who made my evening, a true gent!! All in all however, we wouldn't return... When you charge that much money for food and drink you need to be consistent with the customer service experience & the front of house staff seriously let the side down!!!

The experience as fantastic. Loved the dishware, and really enjoyed the steak. The cocktail "make your marquis" was my wife's favorite drink.

Paris je t'aime, an enchanting dreamy French dinning experience ! Every aspect of our dinner spoke French in its most glamorous standards . Starting from the entrance , reception where we were greeted at reception by the manager Mr Fredrick , and personally escorted to our table . The decor is so sensational and atmosphere is so upbeat and pumping with positive dreamy romantic energy . We had foie gras and risotto with lobster bisque for starter -A dish that s one of a kind to die for, and highly recommended . For main,we had the duck for two and it was quite and experience as we were presented with the whole duck then served from several different dishes. For desert we had the chocolate ganache , yummiest chocolate desert , so smooth and rich !
I was recommended Sketch by a friend and certainly is the IT destination for any special guests or occasion

I went to Sketch for my birthday and we started off with fantastic cocktails in the Glade Bar, it was opulent and i just wish we had more time there, it's small and no room to go back in after dinner. The french gentleman that received us asked if it was my birthday and treated me like a princess, the table was booked for 2 hours but i think we had it for nearly four. The steak was exceptional, the red wine was served out of a fabulous, theatrical decanter, a beautiful desert plate decorated with "Happy Birthday" - a very nice touch. You have to visit yourself to experience the futuristic, contradictory toilets (futeristic pods but with a downton abbey styled maid keeping everything to an impecable standard). Expensive - but you get what you pay for. I loved it. (My only negative was that the service charge was discresionary and they were quite pushy about this). Thank you.

Overall the whole experience was fantastic , the lady who initially served us in the bar was so welcoming and professional. The food tasted amazing and the attention to detail was very clear. The only criticism I would have was that after our meal we wanted to head back through for another drink however we were told that after 9pm it turns to a private members club which is fine however it would have been nice to have an alternative place to go considering we had already spent a reasonable some of money and would have continued to spend should we have been allowed somewhere which i guess would have been in the best interests of everyone. Overall however it was fantastic and i like i say thats just a minor detail that could possibly be thought about for the future. most importantly i will be coming back as this was actually my second visit and i enjoyed it a lot even more so this time than the previous time .

I went with a friend, we had a nice experience (good food, good drinks and amazing decoration) but the service was really poor. We had to wait fourty minutes just just to pay the bill! Mostly all the waiters were French and only talking to one another, not paying attention to the clients. When spending this amount of money you except a better quality service. I hope my comment will be useful to you.
