One of the oldest and best loved Indian restaurants in London, Sheba has been serving Brick Lane since 1974. Awarded Best Curry House in the UK in The Cobra Good Curry Guide 2015, Sheba offers classic dishes alongside signature recipes, a range of vegetarian options and Bangladeshi seafood specials.

Using seasonal ingredients directly from all corners of South East Asia, the Sheba menu tantalises diners with both recognisable classics and signature specials. Only premium halal meat is used, with a selection of kebabs being a popular option to share. Tandoori recipes use carefully measured blends of spices and yoghurts, while a traditional charcoal barbeque grill showcases the Sheba restaurant jerk seasoning.

As well as a great selection of vegetarian dishes, Indian seafood delicacies at Sheba Restaurant Brick Lane are an eclectic venture away from the norm that features at so many other curry houses. The staff, dressed in traditional dress, add to the exotic ambience.

A key part of Brick Lane, Sheba Restaurant London is just an 8-minute walk from Shoreditch High Street Rail Station.

    Great food and friendly staff

This wasn't a nice dining experience. The food was good and the waitor who helped me was very friendly. However, It always felt as everything was rushed. The restaurant wasn't full. I had lamb samosas as appetizer which were very good. As a main course I had the chefs specialies dish with prawns. It was very spicy. In my opinion the prawns were undercooked when cutting them they were still elastic. I was alone and spent about half an hour in the restaurant for an appetizer and main course. After I was finished they asked me if I wanted a coffee. When I said no, they immediately gave me the bill. Whitout asking.

At bookatable I booked this restaurant with a 25% off offer but at the restaurant it was only 10%.

Lovely curry - I had the murghi gosht which was beautifully tender and nice and spicy - fantastic! Good service and reasonably priced

Good experience for enjoying a delicious lunch in this restaurant. The server explains patiently how to order and which flavour does each meal taste. If the menu offers pictures for references, it would be much easier for customers to choose what they want. Besides that, the dish they offer is really amazing.

We booked a pre-music event dinner for three people, but on arrival further friends came to join us. The staff were excellent and enlarged the table to 8 without any problems. Outstanding food, friendly staff, easily the best restaurant on Brick Lane.

Whole experience was spot on. Service, meal and atmosphere was everything you could ask for. If you want an authentic 'Indian' dining experience and are traveling to Brick Lane go to Sheba and take all the risk out of your choice of restaurants that there are there.

Really tasty lamb chop and onion bhaji starters, I really enjoyed the Chicken Xacuti and king prawn coriander. Really good menu, overall food was great, service was good and well worth visiting again.

Lovely evening here as part of a group of 15. Friendly helpful staff and delicious food too.

Probably the most disappointing curry main I have ever had. Not a Biryani but a quarter chicken cooked in a sauce with a side of rice. When the bill was presented the 25% discount was not shown--on receiving an ammended bill a 15% service charge had suddenly appeared although this was declared as being discretionary---needless to say this was removed. The kebab starter was quite nice and favourably priced.
