Food was very good. I had fish and chips and the fish was lovely. Extremely moist and well cooked. Had sticky toffee pudding for desert but nowhere enough custard in the miniature jug! Everyone else enjoyed the meals. The only problem we all had was how cold it was in there. We kept our coats on for a good while and my father in law who is 86 was actually shivering. Not good. We wouldn't come again in the autumn/winter.

Looks lovely, in pictures outside looks great and welcoming. Inside dark entrance, was that why they didnt see me for over 5 mins while staff llayed with computer trying to add a booking. I interrupted to request help, looked and sid though i was with another party, standing on my own? Table was by kitchen entrance, dark noisy and with saggy uncomfortable chair. Never mind the food would be better, my roast was not soggy potatoes, soggy yerkshire, at the start of dinner service half the beef was tough, Risotto of guest looked better. Coffee was ok. As a first visit they do give away welcome bar enticers, not used at lunch and would drive 40 mins for a bar snack.

The meal was very good and the decor was nice. Waitress seemed inexperienced and slow as had to ask to order as was just sitting waiting, also never asked if we wanted drinks

I have now been twice since the new opening. I find you staff very helpful and friendly. The service is slow. The portion are perculiar, the adult portion sometimes come up small and the children's are large. Saying this, the food is very tasty. I shall come again.

No staff available to seat us when arrived. Only saw 3 staff running around to serve in and outside. Polite staff but Waited an hour for food. Finished drinks before food arrived. Enjoyed cous cous salad when it finally arrived but had no drink to wash it down. Staff did not check if we needed more either.
