What a disaster! We were kept waiting for an hour before a very inexperienced chef appeared. He cooked our rice, then the fish. Those who had ordered prawns were handed three each! My partner had ordered the blackened cod and was given under 2 oz or 50g for his main course. The steak and chicken were cooked together, the raw chicken being handled with the same utensils that were used for the medium rare steak, is this not dangerous? I have never seen that in a Tepanyaki restaurant before. As the chicken was passed to a party on the table next to us, they mentioned they had been waiting for it for 2 hours.
One person had ordered his steak well done, all 20 g of which were handed to him aftersitting on the Tepanyaki table for 15 minutes - burnt and dried up.
Everyone in the restaurant was complaining by this time and we were told they were understaffed because it was Easter. In order to put things right, a more experienced chef came out and cooked eight prawns in order to give me the right amount due to me and more steak for those who had ordered steak. However the ration of cod was not added to and at £35 this seemed miserly. The new chef finally also cooked the vegetables to go with our menus, despite our already having finished our food.
We were offered complimentary drinks to make up for everything else, which we however declined. Instead we said we would only pay for half the final bill, as we had only received what seemed like half after a very long wait.
All in all, there were about 30 people in the restaurant, I doubt whether any of us will ever return.

Booked a table with an offer. No booking on arrival and no knowledge of offer. Still had a great meal, chef was excellent but the place wasn't as clean as you'd wish it to be.

Good food for a decent price, fantastic show by the chefs. Seems to be popular with a party/birthday crowd, which makes it festive but also quite loud.

The restaurant was not up to the standard I was expecting. When booking through bookatable I got used to discovering pretty amazing places. This was just an average Japanese restaurant, slightly overpriced. Service was not great either.

2nd time visiting this resturant and again it was amazing the food was delicious, the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would say the only downside is the portion sizes are a little small, so you dnt quite get the amount you pay. However the service was great so I would definiatly visit again.

Was OK. We went on a Super Tuesday - food (not wine) is half price. Quite good fun if you go with a group willing to enjoy themselves. Very, very noisy - difficult to hear/understand waiters etc. OK on Tuesdays - but very, very expensive on other days - would not be good value for money. We had the set meal with three mains. The starters were OK - but nothing special. The mains we had were Beef, Prawns and Salmon. The beef was a little tough and the salmon was well done. Prawns were good. Didn't get offered deserts and anyway there wouldn't have been enough time - they are very keen you don't overstay your 2 hour slot. Booked ages ago for 7:30. On the day we were phoned by the restaurant and told that it would be better if we were there by 7pm as we would have to vacate the table by 9pm. Evidently this is on their web site. Overall experience - a bit below average. I have had much better Teppanyaki in the US.
