Had a gorgeous afternoon tea at Stoke place on Mother's Day. There was a lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones. The staff were very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend.

Stole Place was a beautiful venue for a very tasty afternoon tea, due to two slightly fussy eaters they couldn't be more accommodating and there were so many cakes we couldn't finish them! Always a sign of a great tea, the staff from booking right through to serving us were amazing.

I booked Afternoon Tea as a treat for my mothers birthday. I contacted Stoke Place to let them know the reason behind the booking and they were more than happy to help treat my mum for the afternoon.

The service was exceptional, we were greeted with a glass of prosecco each and during afternoon tea my mum was presented with a separate selection of goodies.

My mum thoroughly enjoyed the day and we will definitely be back!

The staff were very polite and helpful and even brought me out a special birthday treat without us even having to request anything. Beautiful surroundings and amazing food.

Beautiful hotel, lovely setting. There was plenty of food. The sandwiches were nice, but the scones were quite hard and a bit stale.
It was presented well and the staff were great.

When booking the Afternoon Tea at Stoke Place for my wife and I, we chose to go there as on the menu it stated "Chefs' 'Victoria Sponge to share'". With Victoria Sponge being my all time favourite cake, we opted to book here rather than elsewhere. We arrived at Stoke Place to a friendly greeting by both the reception and waiting staff and the Orangery had a relaxed atmosphere. We read the menu to find the Victoria sponge mentioned again and ordered our choice of tea. The tea was lovely and hot and full of flavour... then the cakes arrived and we were disappointed to find that the Victoria Sponge didn't make an appearance. Although the other cakes were nice, it was disappointing that the cake that is spoken so highly on the menu, both online and at Stoke Place didn't feature and the waiting staff couldn't say why. All in all, it was nice and I would recommend it, but it's a shame that we felt a little short changed not getting what we were expecting.

The restaurant was brilliant, very quiet mid week but we had individual attention. I thought the menu was lovely and it was a good deal for £34.50 each. I would certainly recommend.
