Another enjoyable return visit to St Pancras Grand Brasserie. We had a quiet table for a reunion lunch and this worked out very well. The menu options are good value for money. The interior design and ambience make this venue a special place. We will continue to return to this relaxing restaurant as the location is accessible to us all.

I use Searcys St Pancras regularly for its strategic location, ie a good place to meet people one seldom sees and have a good talk over lunch. The ambience is very good for this. Yesterday, the food and drink was as good as ever, especially the vegetable dishes (terrine and ricotta) and the wine (a very good Gavi at reasonable price). But the service, usually so good, was strangely absent. Although the restaurant was not particularly busy, after the first encounter no waiter took the initiative in coming to us, and four times I had to look around and wave my arms to get someone to take an order (food, wine and two times coffee). And when the main course came, it was not what we had ordered and had to be sent back. But I'm sure it was a lapse, and it will not stop me coming again.

Our party had the monkfish or the venison and all were delighted with their choice. I loved the gingerbread ice cream served with the creme brûlée. We have eaten here before and enjoyed it so much we decided to meet up again here. Quick and friendly service.

Food was fine, no complaints. Service willing but a little inconsistent. Overall acceptable. Will use it again when sending my guest on the Eurostar.
