Boasting extraordinary views of London from its 39th-floor setting, Searcys at the Gherkin's 360-degree glass walls allow for uninterrupted city panoramas. Designed by Lord Foster and rising 180 metres above the capital, Searcys sits in one of the world's most striking buildings.
The refined Gherkin a la carte menu offers beautifully prepared dishes in a stunning, calm and luxurious setting. Sample signature Searcys favourites like sea bream with brown shrimp, or Gressingham duck breast with raspberry.
One of London’s most desirable dining experiences, Searcys at The Gherkin is found 5 minutes’ walk from Aldgate Tube Station. Please note, Searcys at The Gherkin requires each guest to present a form of ID when visiting the restaurant.

Best restaurant feature would be the view, but the food was lovely too; the service was great, overall a great experience.

Fabulous experience. Food was excellent. Views were great. Get there early for window seat. As expected the wine is expensive. For a £5 supplement (as I had the set menu deal) I recommend the cheese board for dessert.. great selection of French cheeses. The staff were friendly and efficient. If you can, walk up to the next level to the cocktail bar for even better views. Unfortunately I was not told there was a private function at 4pm so just got there to be told it was closing. Great for lunch on a sunny day but I think it would be even better in the evening to see the London lights.
