My partner and I ordered the Charcuterie dish for two to share @ £12 - I was very disappointed as the amount given was only enough for one - felt cheated on the price. I had Sea bass for the main course and although this dish was quite good I still felt considerably hungry after two courses. I very rarely eat desert - I much prefer savory dishes, but as I was still hungry (an unusual experience for me in a restaurant after two courses) I ordered the Peach and raspberry mess. Another disappoint meant as I enjoy meringue and fruit but I am not keen on cream. The dessert was nearly all cream with very little meringue and very little fruit. Extremely disappointing all round and very expensive for the food provided.

Imaginative menu and well constructed dishes. The service was informal, friendly and very good. Our theatre booking had no interval so we managed to squeeze three courses into an hour slot beforehand.. I think it probably pays to let the waitress know you have a deadline. Very enjoyable evening.

We travel nearly two hours to the Malvern Theatre and always eat at Scene Bistro. Excellent food from chefs who know how to cook and excellent waiting staff. They certainly know how to make the evening meal a very exciting dining experience. A treat indeed.

Eat here every time we visit Malvern Theatre if we can get a table - it is popular! Food never disappoints. Combination of flavours is inventive, food delicious and portions perfectly balanced and nourishing for pre-theatre. Particularly like the fact that you can eat starter/main before performance and table kept for your booked dessert/drink in the interval. Scene Bistro really enriches the theatre experience but is also a great place to drop into if you are shopping in Malvern for coffee and home made cakes or lunch. Have also used bistro when working on exhibition stand in foyer and the staff could not be more helpful.

All courses cooked to perfection and beautifully served. Staff are so helpful and obliging without being in any way "pushy." It really enhances the evening to dine in advance of the theatre production.
