    Great cassoulet, good atmosphere. We were disappointed that the £15 deal to add coffees and toast needs to be booked in advance. We think this should be made clearer on your website/mailing list!

    delicious ! earthy , conforting yet surprising, we loved it all
    the cabbage and chedstnut soup, the cod with anchovies sauce and the fennels cooked at perfection, and finally, the rhubarb tart (surprising despite a boring look) and the amazing orange sponge cake !

    The food was excellent. Cooked so that the flavours were to the fore, with no unnecessary additions to detract. The service was efficient and friendly, and the three of us had a wonderful time. G&T was also gorgeous!

    My friend had got the wrong night and so was unable to attend at the last minute. I decided to stay anyway. The waiting staff were very thoughtful and kind. Main my main course and side dish of greens were absolutely delicious, inventive but also substantial. The pudding of galette a little less successful, perhaps slightly over done. I had a very good meal and enjoyed being there. My only gripe really was the volume of the music. I think good food should be enjoyed without shouting!
