Not as good as I expected, cracked teapot, which I must say, was changed promptly. We were over-charged too. Also, quite chilly.

We had a wonderful time and my daughter loved this amazing girly treat. The food was delicious and we ordered more sandwiches and savoury scones which arrived promptly. What we couldn't manage they boxed up for us to take home, although it was only a few mushrooms and a piece of cheesecake.
Only criticism was that we weren't given enough tea. My husband and I ordered Earl Grey and given a pot to share which only gave just over a cup each. Consequently we had to order a further 3 pots, which was a little slow in coming.
Nevertheless a really fun and special day in quirky surroundings.

    A fun afternoon tea.
Wouldn't visit again as service very slow and inaccurate.

I would really recommend trying the afternoon tea here, the experience is quite unique and food very tasty. We were allowed more tea and even sandwiches and cakes if required at no extra cost which we were impressed with! The service was great and our waitress was friendly and helpful. It was really easy booking this up online and we had a £6 discount each for the tea from booking online, which came off our bill automatically.

My daughter and I loved our visit, it's been our favourite afternoon tea to date. The staff weren't intimidating as can be the case, just very welcoming. Food was so special without being crazy, especially loved the potion! Lovely experience.

Three of us had the "Alice" afternoon tea, overall it was a wonderful experience. It was very well themed with custom crockery and a wide range of colourful, imaginative and interesting sandwiches, savouries and sweets. The only slight negative was the staff member on the desk, who we checked in with on arrival but then forgot to get us and left us waiting longer than necessary for our table, but our server was very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Food is plentiful and you can ask for more sandwiches if you'd like them. One of the best afternoon teas I've had in London and an absolute MUST for Alice in Wonderland fans. If driving, the hotel underground car park is tricky to find (it's not the one on the road near the hotel entrance). Try to research how to locate it before going.
