Saltim Bocca is located in the Corts district of Barcelona. It serves reasonably priced Italian and Mediterranean cuisine made with fresh, top quality ingredients, in a stylish setting. Typical dishes include bull’s steak tartar, a variety of risottos, cold soups or the “burrata” (soft Italian cheese) with tomato, black olives and Furgentini extra virgin olive oil from Sicily. Its speciality, however, is thin crust, crispy pizzas with a variety of toppings, from classic margaritas through to modern combinations with exciting new flavours. All are prepared under the watchful eye of Jordi Vilá, the Michelin-starred chef of Alkimia restaurant. Saltim Bocca is undeniably stylish, with vivid colours and carefully chosen furnishings, and has a private dining room attached to the restaurant, known as the Dopo lounge, that can accommodate up to 60 diners.
