relaxed atmosphere, fun décor, friendly staff, was really impressed with the food - simple, wholesome and yummy, good value for money. Great for a convivial, relaxed and tasty lunch - with the mandatory jug of sangria!

We booked for 6pm but we're a bit delayed and we're booked at local theatre for 7.15 so we were quite rushed and didn't get the best from the restaurant. They tried very hard to accommodate us and did very well. Will go back again for a more relaxed meal.

Always looking for good places to go before or after Barbican events and Sabor Iberico definitely fits the bill. All the familiar tapas plates done well accompanied by a very nice fino with friendly service. Next time will try some of the other very tasty dishes we spied on some other tables.

Food was poor, service was worse.

Great experience. We'd never eaten in this area of the City, but it's tucked away and you're transported to a little slice of Spain. Food was lovely and reasonably priced with decent tapas portions.

Flexible staff. Good food for good price busy place. Paella was good but needed to be less oily and needed more saffran. Tapas were fine. House wines were tasty.

The service was fast and the servers nice, but that was the end of the good news. Though it may not be fair to judge a restaurant on the inexpensive pre-theatre menu I had, the food came nowhere near in quality to anything I'd eaten in a even just a decent, let alone a good, restaurant in Spain, or in other venues of this kind in London. My starter, a courgette-salad, had a dressing with no discernible taste, consisted mainly of two long courgette spirals that were impossible to cut in the small bowl in which they were served and splattered the dressing over you as you tried to eat them as a long piece, and came with some feta-like cheese that had never seen Spain. The main course of chicken thighs with some kind of beans and potato stew was not much more than edible, and the churros for desert, over-oiled and over-fried (the people at the table next to me said they were like fried Mars bars) and with so-called chocolate sauce to which chocolate might at best have said hello, positively nasty. I only ate these things because I was hungry and heading for a two and half hour event.

No wonder the place was yawning empty.

    Never again.
