The food was really tasty apart from the bavette steak with was tough and tasteless. The service was good but the experience was spoilt because it was freezing in there. It was really tempting to just sit with our coats on. I also think that the design is poor and the restaurant tables need more separation from the drinking area, cavernous and cold did not make for a comfortable or pleasant ambient experience. We went on a Wednesday so it was reasonably quiet. We were unable to book for a Thursday or Friday which I imagine is because it's extremely busy and reportedly also extremely noisy, so probably best to avoid if you don't want to shout in order to have a conversation. Probably will not be tempted to go again although it was nice to try a selection of rums.

The food was excellent and the service, although a little slow, was friendly and helpful. The calamari and crab cake starters were real stars and the fish and chips well cooked and the batter was superb.
