Superb Food! We went Friday lunch for 2course meal and prosecco. The staff were extremely helpful and happy to chat, top up our glasses whenever we asked.

We'd definitely go back.

Would not recommend this place at all.

Service - extremely poor and slow.. Took over 20min to get prosecco and take our order. Tried to add £11 service charge when service was horrific. Then when we refused to pay - service got even worse!

Food - extremely overpriced for what you get. The quality was of low standards. Getting made to pay extra for certain items on the menu you would expect better quality of food yet this was laughable - £11 for a slither of a slice of cold duck - disgusting!

Prosecco deal/value - dismal! I don't believe you can class this deal as a free flowing deal. Waste of money overall!

This was a very poor evening for something we were looking forward to. I think you need to rethink your deals - prices of food and also train your staff to be a lot more attentive!

We dined here on a bookatable deal of 3 courses and a glass of prosecco. Was warmly greeted and shown to our table. However our table was immediately next to the walkway between the outside bar and toilets/exit. This meant customers and staff were constantly pushing past our table. The waitress who initially served us forgot to bring our prosecco over 3 times. It only came when the manager noticed she still hasn't brought it over. They give you their full menu and then tell you the dishes which are part of the deal. It's easy to forget, so I had to get the menu from the bookatable website. Drinks prices were expensive. Bottle of Savignon Blanc was £30. The food however was very good. All nicely presented and very tasty. The service did improve as the meal progressed. However when the final bill came both deserts had been charged for on top of the deal price, so I had to ask the waiter to rectify it, which they did without hesitation. Overall I would say it was a disappointing evening. While the food was very good, the table location and service were disappointing. We probably wouldn't return here.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We arrived early but they had no hesitation in finding us a table by a window and, with the weather being superb, the view was great. Out host was Suzie, and she was perfect. She was attentive from start to finish, without being over-bearing, and we overheard her conversation with another table and she was clearly creating the same vibe with them. The food was top quality in both presentation and taste, with the burnt sugar dessert was quite exquisite. It was overall a very enjoyable evening and we would thoroughly recommend it.

I had looked forward to dining at the Hispaniola. The offer of a three course meal and bubbles for £35 seemed a reasonable deal, however the boat was a tad lacking in lustre. Perhaps only ten other diners. Food was pleasant/ well presented and the service friendly. The waiting staff were responsive but I felt their attire very shabby. Ok but not a wow factor.
