A London dining landmark for over 30 years, R.S. Hispaniola restaurant ship gives diners classic elegance on the River Thames. Moored at Victoria Embankment, stunning river views are offered on the sun terraces and upper deck bar.

Effortlessly romantic, the R.S. Hispaniola restaurant sits just across from the London Eye, and benefits from the sparkle of its lights on the water. Al fresco dining on deck in the warmer months is perfect for enjoying one of the many wines on offer, and R.S. Hispaniola London also serves a popular afternoon tea menu.

Modern British and European cuisine feature on the R.S. Hispaniola menu. Bold flavour and texture combinations feature in dishes like wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil and shaved parmesan. Fresh seafood options are also available, like South Coast plaice with sautéed spinach, burnt butter and capers

The R.S. Hispaniola offers romance and spectacle, just a short walk from Charing Cross and Embankment Tube stations.

Absolutely lovely meal but the waitress was exceptional. She really made the experience. Loved being on the boat and amazing view of the London eye. Would definetly go again.

Pleasant - friendly service but possibly too much checking - may be overly eager! Starter and main good - pudding a bit off the pace.

The lady who looked after us was charming and helpful. The mocktails were delicious. My mushroom starter was delicious but my husband felt his ham hock terrine had no flavour. My roasted cod main course was over salty and didn't have much flavour either but my husband enjoyed his pork belly. I had lemon posset for dessert which was delicious and indulgent but the crumble my husband had was stodgy and he didn't finish it. All in all it was an average meal but the location was nice if a little tired and dated inside. We have enjoyed better deals with Bookatable.

Setting okay, but not really " smart ". Perhaps white tablecloths would be better.
Food competent but not of an high standard.
    Views wonderful.

Loving the view. Great ambience. As for food, I enjoyed the mushroom starter. The cod fillet taste is quite plain but loving the crispy skin. Not a big fan of the dessert served except for the shortbread with strawberries.

Good food, great views of the London eye and southbank. Very surprised at how relaxed and quiet it was on board, no pressure to rush or leave our table.

A delightful meal - the cod and pork were superb. Attentive staff. Situated on The Thames looking across to The London Eye proved to be a perfect choice.

Lovely place for a catch up with friends. On the Thames opposite the London Eye. We sat on deck with a drink before going inside to eat. Lovely 3 course meal was good quality food well cooked. We mostly ate fish and the home-cured gin smoked salmon was in generous slices with just enough garnish to offset the richness of the fish. To follow a good slab of cod in a beer broth was much nicer than we had expected ( originally thought it was beer batter but nothing like) and we spooned up the sauce after eating the flakes of fish. Puddings were also tempting, the lemon posset was lovely (not my choice but I ate most of it thanks to kind friend). Staff were attentive and friendly. Wine was fine and a reasonable price.

Our experience on Hispaniola was just PERFECT, helped, I have to admit, by the beautiful weather. We had delicious cocktails on the deck before entering the dining room for a very good 3 course meal plus Prosecco. The staff were attentive, excellent service, there was no rushing so we were on board for several hours watching the boats, the tide changing, the London sights.
