We were running half hour late, but they still accommodated us under the set menu deal. Service was excellent, food was delicious. And it was great value- amuse bouche, petit fours and glass of wine included. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. A truly fantastic dining experience.

Perfect setting in what used to be the old stables.
Staff very friendly and helpful without being over attentive. informal atmosphere but very plush and lovely decor.
    Food excellent!
Wine about average in cost for a higher end restaurant. But even the cheaper bottles are very good.
Service is prompt without feeling rushed so you can enjoy either a fairly quick lunch or you can have a long lunch without feeling that you are being pushed out. If its busy you can sit in the bar and have coffee, wine or just sit and enjoy.
A very good experience at a very reasonable price if you stick to the set menu.

Not our first visit to a Roux restaurant but without doubt the worst! Food was ok - nothing to rave about and certainly NOT the Roux standard. However the real let down was the service from start to finish....I entered the restaurant and stood at the entrance looking around to spot my husband who was already seated. I stood there for at least 2-3 minutes, whilst two staff members stood next to me ignoring me and gazing into space. I finally approached them to ask where my husband was and they escorted me to him. It was a busy period and they were quite obviously understaffed or the staff they had very hugely inefficient....lots of running around looking busy but not actually achieving much. Before taking our order (food and drinks), a waiter came whizzing by and deposited an amuse-bouche in front of us (deep-fried croquettes - to me deep frying always a cop out!) and then ran off again. About 15 minutes later another waiter finally came and deigned to take our food and drinks order. We asked the waiter about one of two wines on the menu and he didn't know and said he would ask his supervisor - who gave a gallic shrug and said medium is medium! Then another 10-15 min wait before yet another waiter came flying over with some bread. Pl note at this point - still no drinks! Then a further 15 min later came our starters - and still no drinks! The wine arrived as we started tucking into the starter. After that service continued in this impersonal, nonchalant manner, with various waiters serving our table as opposed to the same one! At no point during the entire meal did anyone come and ask if we wanted to order any more drinks! It was my birthday and I was looking forward to ordering some champagne but wasn't given the chance! It seemed to me that there was a slight condescending attitude as we had booked the Bookatable offer as opposed to going a la carte! Would I go again - never! Would I recommend it - never!

Dined there last night. The food was good, but far from Michelin Chef good to me. The set menu wasn't the same as when I booked it, and I wouldn't have chosen to book with the menu we got last night. The place is really nice and the service was perfect, and of course the food was good, but I ate at a lot of restaurants which made better food and were cheaper. I wouldn't recommend I wouldn't go again.
