Definitely would also recommend a cocktail before dinner at The Artisan.

Went for the £45 deal with a bottle of wine included and must say we were really impressed with not just the food but the wine that was included. The restaurant is beautiful and normally when you go for a 'deal' it's good but honestly probably the best one I've tried. £45 for 3 courses, half a bottle of wine each, coffee and petit fours in a Roux restaurant in central London really is excellent value. Try it you will be blown away!

As always, a very enjoyable experience overall but we were somewhat disappointed to find that on our limited menu of 3 starters and 3 main courses, that chicken was (again) a choice for both courses ! We do expect a more varied menu choice and the main chicken dish was disappointing in the quality of the chicken and the limited accompanying vegetables - basically heavily over salted "crisps". The service was also rather substandard compared with previous visits.

Everything was great, but the dessert choicee could be better, no chocolate dessert on menu ???, no truffles for petit fours ???

Excellent food, attentive service. Early dining meant it was s little empty . So not loads of atmosphere - but really great value.

It's the 3rd time we have dined here and on one of those previous occasions I ate one of the finest desserts I've ever tasted (an incredible panna cotta)

Unfortunately we were a little disappointed this time around. We enjoyed the chorizo madeleines amuse-bouches and our starters of suckling pig ham and cauliflower soup were very tasty. The chicken main was nice but the salmon was very ordinary - bland, lacking flavour and nothing near any 'wow' factor. Same with dessert, the moka praline and milk ice cream lacked any kind of punch in flavour, just a very ordinary dessert.

The chosen white wine was very good but the overall meal really didn't hit the standard we expected.

We have a set menu. i had trout for main, which was slightly overcooked. The white wine come with the set menu was a bit disappointing.
We had to wait a while for our bills (the service wasn't busy at that time) and the card reader didn't work. After a few attempts the transaction was flagged as fraud by the bank.
