Delicious food and drinks, the beef was melt in the mouth! , , ( apart from the restaurants house rose' ) it was a dark rose and quite syrupy, tasted a lot better when watered down, staff all brilliant and attentive, a really lovely experience, thank you .

    We dined here to celebrate my Wife's 50th Birthday. She is a chef and has followed the careers of Michel Roux Jr and father Albert since college so we knew the standard of food to expect and were not disappointed. Staff were very attentive and ensured that our experience was the best. They went out of their way to see that the Birthday was properly celebrated and provided after dinner macaroons presented on a slate written with "Happy Birthday". To top it all my wife was presented with a menu signed by Michel Roux Jr. A prefect way to end a brilliant evening. Thank you all at Roux at the Landau.

    Had a lovely lunch at 'Roux at The Landau'. We sat at one of the central curved tables which we loved. So much more friendly then sitting opposite each other. Food great and staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

    Attention to detail was brilliant, food was very well presented and perfectly balanced. Amazing wine list. Excellent value for money with the Bookatable deal.

    Very good service and exquisite food. A little spare in the front of house department so we had to wander around looking for the dining room but once welcomed, everything excellent. Not happy about the billing protocol of showing service separately on the bill then leaving a space for a gratuity at the payment section. The policy about payment to staff really needs to be made clear in the 21st century. If the service fee goes to the staff then take off the space labelled for a gratuity. If it doesn't and the customer wants to reward good service, then make this clear. Anything else is not being straight with the customer. I know the Hilton maintains this policy - which I've complained about before - but the restaurant should break with this insidious tradition.

    Aside from that one sour note, everything was wonderful - good value and a top experience!

    Roux at the Landau is a beautiful restaurant and the service was excellent. The star deal was a great offer but it didn't really cater for vegetarians very well -all the starters were either meat or fish based and the onion soup came with snails. I should add that I am not a vegetarian but sometimes like to eat vegetarian food and I am normally happy with this option. We were a table of four and although everyone else enjoyed their selections, I was a little disappointed with my main course (brioche with cauliflower and muscat grapes). This was my second visit and I would probably return because despite my main course everything else was just as it should be.

    Once again a delicious dining experience in lovely surroundings. All three courses were superb (although my daughter did find a bone in her chicken ravioli). The Maitre D did apologise. The three of us had the lamb rump which was cooked to pink perfection, with tasty side dishes and we all opted for the cheese board - of which Roux at Landau has an extensive choice. The champagne and wine does push the cost up, but we spent all afternoon and early evening there and it is an ideal restaurant for a special occasion.

    One of the best meals I have had. The ambience matched the dress code - smart but casual. So, posh without being stuffy. Superb service from all staff. However, it was not a quick lunch!. A glass of champagne to start (included in the price), then I had white onion soup, garlic snails; then poached hake, bouillabaisse, saffron potatoes, fennel. For dessert, I went off the fixed menu and had vanilla panna cotta but I was only charged an extra £5. I could have had mango parfait, star anise, pineapple and lime at no extra charge. My wife had cod brandade, parsley, oats and apple, then grilled lamb rump, feta, cucumber and pickled aubergine. She had a selection of four French and British cheeses, included in the price. We treated ourselves to a half bottle of Sancerre, which was delicious. Would I go again? You bet!
