From the acclaimed team behind Dock Kitchen, Rotorino is a sleek southern Italian eatery that brings rustic Mediterranean cuisine to East London. Whether enjoying al fresco pavement dining or the elegant restaurant area, diners can indulge in an outstanding range of Italian and international wins selected by Ruth Spivey of Street Vin.

The Rotorino menu spans everything from cured and wood-grilled meats, to rich mozzarella to fresh, decadent pasta. Diners can exult in the hanger steak with Calabrian chilli sauce, or enjoy one of the multiple choice house wines or chilled Italian beers available from the opulent, superbly-stocked bar.

Every detail in Rotorino is exquisitely observed, from the nautical decorations to the atmospheric low-hanging lamps. The effervescent blues and sultry caramels of the tiling and seating are instantly eye-catching, giving the restaurant a vibrant, coastal milieu that belies its urban setting.

An Italian-themed haven on the bustling Kingsland Road, Rotorino in London is just a 5-minute walk from Haggerston Station.

Had a very nice experience at Rotorino for Sunday lunch yesterday. Really lovely staff who were incredibly accommodating. We were able to try a couple of different wines and ended up choosing different to what I had initially decided on. I'm glad she let me try both as the alternative was delicious! We shared the first two courses between 3 of us and then each chose one of the roast mains. I really liked my lamb and the staff were nice enough to allow us to take the porchetta away as the person who had ordered had to leave. I ended lunch with an amazing Tiramisu so overall a great lunch. Is good value at 4 courses for £30!

Nice restaurant - cosy space, cool decor, comfortable seats. Extra points for Aesop handwash in bathrooms!

Good food - tasty, well cooked, well seasoned, generous portions.

Friendly and professional young waiters and waitresses.

Good value: two courses with wine for two people - £65

Enjoyable meal in stylish surroundings, some dishes better than others and service was a bit slack at times

We love this restaurant and go back time and time again. We have lived in Italy and think this is one of the most authentic italian restaurants in london. Great atmospheric and lovely staff.

The only thing is the tips don't go to the staff, they go to company, so we always request they take the 12.5% off and we pay the tip in cash. This really shocked us because they are an independent restaurant and should look after their good staff.

We arrived at the restaurant to discover that it was closed! Did no one think to contact the diners who had booked in advance? New Year's dinner ruined.

I had not been to Rotorino before but was encouraged by the reviews and was keen to see if the hype was true. Once I located the restaurant and stepped inside it was a truly wonderful experience. The food was superb and can definitely recommend the salted fish starter and the sea bream main. The atmosphere was animated without being noisy and the staff were really accommodating. I also recommend the Sicilian cocktail which was really delicious.
