ONE OF THE BEST SUSHI RESTURANTS i HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Great menu with interesting dishes there as well as some interesting drinks. The head chef was very happy to talk us through the menu and what made it different, talk us through his experiences and share his expertise and also make recommendations. Definitely going back.

The Rock Sushi Bar is fantastic. It is an authentic Japanese restaurant of the type you'd find in Tokyo - unassuming but where all the focus goes into creating amazing food. Everything we ate was mouth-watering from the seaweed salad to the eel rolls to the slabs of sushimi (served in a boat) to the green tea ice cream. All complimented by beautiful service with Brazilian Igor being the perfect host.

It was a real dining experience. The restaurant is really small and quite "understatement", more like a small pub, so the first impression is really not very good.... the surprise is: food is delicious. Very Japanese in style and ingredients, which is uncommon in Europe, top quality and prepared in an excellent way. Tempura, seaweed salad, sashimi and uramaki are all outstanding. Price is very affordable, surely lower than you expect after the dinner. Getting there from the City takes a long time.

Absolutely outstanding sushi, and a great atmosphere to boot! We drove one and half hours from East London just to eat here, and were not disappointed.
