The food was all really nice. The service was good and the people serving very helpful and polite. The atmosphere in the market is great and looking out onto that is really nice.

The restaurant's location is interesting above Borough market. It is nice being able to look down on the market. The mozzarella starter was very good.

I'd never been to roast before although I've worked in the area many years. My daughter booked for my birthday, I was surprised how spacious it was and I liked the room between tables. The starter I had was pea &mint soup which was very nice followed by belly of pork with mash and with a broccoli &spinach mix and glazed carrots veg was optional the pork was very tender, I was a bit disappointed with the choice of sweets which two contained chocolate which I found to sweet and I took most of the chocolate off having said that it went down well with the rest of the table, roast had a good atmosphere the service was excellent and the staff were good overall I would definitely go again and would recommend it.

Interesting location above Borough Market & light and airy inside with all the glass and high ceilings. Tables well spaced (well our was).
Nicely welcomed and seated. Glass of Prosecco (with the deal) arrived promptly. set menu was good selection and food was delicious and generous portions.
Service was little over efficient. I reckon starter arrived within 5 mins of ordering (almost too quick and barely time to drink pre dinner Prosecco. Asked waitress to not bring main quite so fast - I think we probably weren't popular in kitchen as she looked awkward. Just felt we were being push through. A different waiter then asked to take plates when we still had food on them, my cutlery was not together and my friend had hers in her hands. Not good and show lack of observation skills. All seemed to calm down by pudding when there were other empty tables so clearly not the need to rush us out. Not offered coffee - luckily we didn't want any ! So in all a bit mixed and still cost £65 pp so whilst not outrageous still not a bargain even with the meal deal & service should be slicker.

Lovely evening out. The staff were very accommodating and moved us to a window table as it was a special occasion, we got a fantastic view of St Pauls from our table. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.

Great location in Borough Mkt. We had a set there course meal with a glass of Proseco for £30 a head. Squid and Octopus with chickpeas starter was delicious, we both had Pork Belly for our main which was excellent, sticky toffee and date pudding was very good, my apple and rhubarb crumble was not as good as it could have been, have eaten nicer crumble. We visited on a Thursday lunchtime and the restaurant was full of business customers not tourists which was nice but was full of suits.
