Lovely restaurant. Really nice menu with great extra such as praline biscuits after the dessert and macaroons to take home for breakfast!

Having spent 10 years working under the tutelage of Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse in Provence and Monaco, it’s no surprise that head chef Damien Leroux’s menu takes inspiration from Italian and French dining traditions. With an interior designed by Italian architect and designer Antonio Citterior Patricia Viel and Partners, Rivea restaurant in London brings the spirit of the chic French and Italian Riviera to the heart of the British capital.
Focusing on utilising simple and fresh ingredients to bring out the flavours, the Rivea London menu is vibrant and bold. Inspired by the bustling food markets in Italy and Provence, the Mediterranean menu of small plates includes warm octopus and potato salad, and aubergine caviar. Main courses from the Rivea London menu include blue lobster with purple artichokes, and seared beef fillet with seasonal vegetables.
A carefully-selected wine list complements the menu, showcasing small artisanal producers alongside iconic winemakers, all sourced from France and Italy.
Offering elegant cuisine and a relaxed ambience, Rivea London in Knightsbridge sits 2 minutes’ walk from Knightsbridge Tube Station.

Had a great time at Rivea - we ate from the fixed menu. Was slightly anxious when they gave us a separate menu of small dishes that we'd be starving at the end, but that wasn't the case at all. Everything is small but beautifully formed. We had different dishes between us, and none of them were a disappointment. Service was attentive but not overpowering. Deal included a glass of wine, which was excellent. As we'd had a cocktail before our meal we just had the one glass, which was a good idea as the wine list is eye-wateringly expensive. They made a mistake with the dessert (brought the wrong one), but it was all dealt with very efficiently and smoothly. Definitely one to return to.

The food was actually very good for the price very good red mullet starter and served almost the same time the second starter a really good Aubergine pate the main course was veal to follow good chocolate tart. The bad news was all of this was served within 45 mins there was no time to relax in between courses. We would of drunk more if the meal was paced instead we went upstairs and sat and had a drink in the bar for a couple of hours

Fantastic restaurant! The food was very tasty and the four courses which were all slightly smaller plates came together as the perfect lunch. I Loved the range of food, there really was something for everyone. The veal in particular stood out for us, as did the aubergine caviar. We were made to feel really welcome and comfortable by all the staff who were very knowledgeable and happy to answer any of our questions. We would definitely go back again.

The restaurant is very exclusive and the service is excellent. The quality of the food is good but the portions are tiny and not a big menu choice

The hotel was buzzing and the décor was amazing. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was different i.e. 2 starters to share (think tapas) and my main course of turbot was excellent as were the veal and chicken which my guests had. Everything was beautifully presented. The only down side as far as we were concerned was the extremely loud music and noise from a party in the bar above the restaurant which made it very very difficult to talk to the person opposite you. When mentioned to the waiter, he did manage to have it turned down a bit which was helpful. Maybe we were too old for this type of venue!

One of the best London hotel restaurants I have been to. A beautiful room, friendly attentive service and sublime food without any uneasy stuffiness. We will be back!
