Lovely ambience, buzzing on a Saturday evening at 9.30. left midnight. Lovely surroundings, divine food. Great deal. Yummy starters, loved my carpaccio, pig suckling and polenta, and tiramisu. Beautifully designed interiors.

Having spent 10 years working under the tutelage of Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse in London and Paris, it’s no surprise that Executive Chef Alexandre Nicolas' menu takes inspiration from Italian and French dining traditions. With an interior designed by Italian architect and designer Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners, Rivea restaurant in London brings the spirit of the chic French and Italian Riviera to the heart of the British capital.

Focusing on utilising simple and fresh ingredients to bring out the flavours, the Rivea London menu is vibrant and bold. Inspired by the bustling food markets in Italy and Provence, the Mediterranean menu features the likes of warm octopus and potato salad, and aubergine caviar. Main courses from the Rivea London menu include line-caught tuna with sautéed vegetables and agrodolce sauce, and seared beef fillet, crushed potatoes with olive oil.

A carefully-selected wine list complements the menu, showcasing small artisanal producers alongside iconic winemakers, all sourced from France and Italy.

Offering elegant cuisine and a relaxed ambience, Rivea London in Knightsbridge sits 2 minutes’ walk from Knightsbridge Tube Station.

Very warm service and nice food, and they really care about the customers feedback and keep communication during the meal.

Nice, quiet location for a romantic meal, although the lighting was a little too dark for us. It was nice to have starter dips and a limitless supply of fresh, tasty bread. The dishes were tasty, but not memorable. Although we weren't offered wine with dessert, the service otherwise was good and friendly.

The food was good quality. Very attentive service though the deco is a bit "shiny" for me.

I have dined a Rivea before so knew the experience would be a good one. I was not disappointed - fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Definitely going back next month.

Excellent restaurant with a great atmosphere even when not full as it benefits from the upper floor bar/restaurant and a open space area where atmosphere is shared. Decor is excellent and staff very friendly and attentive. Food was very good, not excellent. Ice cream and deserts were out of this world.

The main course and desert were delicious but..... the starters was pretty bland and, as we were on a 'four course' deal, the first two courses were starters. We hadn't finished the first starter when the second one arrived and was plonked on the table. The waitress leaned across my plate to fill my water glass. Drinks were expensive - two G&Ts and a bottle of average wine and our bill for two was close to £200 and that was on a deal. Not worth £200.
