The atmosphere and food were pleasant. However, towards the end of the evening my friends and I were startled and appalled to see a mouse running around our table. We were sitting in one of the side rooms. I have dined in Richoux on several past occasions. However, I am not sure that I want to return. It is shocking to realize that there are vermin in Richoux!! Therefore, I am not recommending it at the present time.

Very civilized and comfortable for lunch for 4 persons on a public holiday. Food was delicious. Fish pie particularly recommended. Chicken Milanese involved rather too much spaghetti. Salad had mandatory dressing - no option to have dressing on the side. Waiters in a bit of a hurry.

Always go to Richoux when I visit the Royal Academy. Food excellent and service friendly. Not good for people with gluten free intolerance, not marked on the menu like most restaurants today and the waiter we had didn't know much about it.

We went here after a visit to the Royal Academy. We had lunch and all our choices were delicious. I had two fish cakes with chips and spinach while my daughter had fish pie and my son a beef sandwich. He said the beef was very pink and tasty. Unfortunately the portions are so large that we had no room for the cakes. We will have to return for tea and cake. The setting is oriental and the service friendly.

Nice and relaxed as didn't rush you but the staff seemed rushed off their feet (Saturday afternoon) as they seemed to have no time for that little extra personal service. The others in our group had ordered their drinks but they had gone before i even managed to order my mums drink (It was a special 70th birthday treat). Lovely decor though and the food was good. Would have given 5 stars if they had taken note of the special request that i put in the online booking system.

I often visit Richoux and it never disappoints. Food, service, location, ambience are all excellent and prices are extremely reasonable for W1. I am a vegetarian and Richoux offers a reasonable selection of vegetarian options.
