Nice and relaxed as didn't rush you but the staff seemed rushed off their feet (Saturday afternoon) as they seemed to have no time for that little extra personal service. The others in our group had ordered their drinks but they had gone before i even managed to order my mums drink (It was a special 70th birthday treat). Lovely decor though and the food was good. Would have given 5 stars if they had taken note of the special request that i put in the online booking system.

I often visit Richoux and it never disappoints. Food, service, location, ambience are all excellent and prices are extremely reasonable for W1. I am a vegetarian and Richoux offers a reasonable selection of vegetarian options.

The food was great as always, very comforting and homely. However, the service was really poor this time around. I had booked a table of 4 and then called to change it to 6. My colleagues arrived ahead of time but there was a queue. We were seen about 7 minutes after our arrival time only to find that they had given our table away. This was incredibly poor, given that I had called about an hour before our arrival time to amend the booking and they also had my contact number but did not even attempt to call.

We had a very pleasant snack before a visit to the Royal Academy; the staff were pleasant and efficient. My one complaint is that having booked a table we had to wait in a queue with people who had not booked to be seated which rather negates the benefit of booking.
