Friendly reception and great service. Sat right next to cash register which was a bit distracting, but we could have asked to move if we were that worried. Food was excellent and well presented.

We had booked a table for 6 people at 2.15 on a Saturday, knowing it would be busy. On arrival they seemed surprised and we had to wait for 30 mins to sit down. After a long wait, we asked if someone would take our order which they eventually did. Our drinks didn't come but we could see them on the bar ...we had to ask for them to be given to us!! 2 meals arrived but no cutlery. Eventually other meals came with cutlery at which point the first two meals had to go back as cold by now. After an uphill struggle the food was lovely, but the service was dreadful - you need more staff! This is our fourth visit as a tradition now when we come to the Gallery, Sadly we did not leave any service tip.

It is always a pleasure to visit Richoux. Everyone is well-trained.. I visit with my disabled sister and staff are always helpful. A ground floor disability toilet would be an improvement. The ambiance is good and the charges reasonable. Happy Christmas to all and thanks, M Lawler
