Food was lovely. The restaurant was rather stuffy but I imagine that because of the age of the building it wasn't air conditioned or didn't seem be working.

Sandwiches were a little odd, scones were 5/10 ,cakes were amazing which was the lasting thought of the food.

This was one of our best Afternoon Tea experiences; divine Earl Grey martini!!, delicacies exquisitely presented - the very best presentation of a cucumber sandwich ever - , novel twist to the carrot cake, courteous, pleasant and attentive staff!! All the sandwiches were scrumptious, cake variety excellent - possibly a 2nd chocoholic, although a 2nd of the dark chocolate mousse was very obligingly provided - my husband is a chocoholic!!; being greedy we would have liked a larger dollop pf clotted cream but of course we managed with the amount provided; the Assam tea was refreshing ... possibly next time I'll try the Darjeeling but the "earthy grassy notes" put me off - my palate!!! It was a special occasion - finale to our 49th anniversary celebrations (actual date 5th) and (they turned out perfect- thank you!) photos were kindly taken. We were able to enjoy our feast at our leisure; no hurry or rush whatsoever and we were offered a choice of tables to start with. Definitely one for our "favourites" and very definitely to share ... we unreservedly recommend Afternoon Tea at the Verdi!!

A very nice dining experience. I like the food, and the most important is the good staff in this restaurant.

IT WAS LOVELY! The sandwiches melt in the mouth and the scones and cakes were scrumptious! We finished and were talking when we were offered a second pot of tea - which we of course accepted!

We reserved a table for high tea in advance as a belated Mother's Day present. When we arrived, we were told there was a glitch in the system (of the company that we booked through) and our reservation was lost.

They were very apologetic and we were promptly seated and given a free glass of champagne!

The food was beautifully displayed and delicious. When we were asked for our bill, our server informed us that it was on the house!!

We were all very taken aback and grateful for such amazing hospitality. Kinga and Anna treated us so well and it was truly a special experience that we'll always remember. Thank you so much!
