An 18th-century Inn in rural Lancashire, The Ye Horn’s Inn serves hearty food packed with local ingredients. Also home to its own microbrewery, the pub was awarded 2014 Pub of the Year for Lancashire by CAMRA.

Featuring recipes handed down through the family for several generations, The Ye Horn’s Inn menu is fresh, local and traditional. Amongst the classic dishes are the famous homemade soup, roast Goosnargh duck, homemade steak and kidney pie, local pheasant served with cranberry sauce and crispy game chips, and grilled fillet of fresh plaice with homemade tartare sauce. Vegetarian options aren’t neglected, with mushroom stroganoff on basmati rice, and stuffed peppers topped with Cheddar cheese both available. Homemade puddings include rich fruit butter tart and sticky toffee pudding.

Traditionally furnished with horse brasses and tankards adorning the walls, Ye Horn’s Inn Goosnargh has remained loyal to its heritage. Open log fires and original wood beams add to the rustic authenticity of this cosy Lancashire inn.

The Ye Horn’s Inn near Goosnargh sits on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, and is just 9 miles from Preston city centre, 2 miles from Longridge and just a 10 minute drive from junction 32 of the M6.

For my birthday I choose your restaurant because,
My favourite starter is the Beef and vegetable soup , which is always very good. On this occasion we all choose different main meals, I had the fish and chips (made just for me) , mum had beef pie and my dad had duck , they both said it was beautiful and tasted great , my ice cream was brilliant and finished my meal with a great brew .

The food was outstanding. The choice was extensive and all inclusive for R courses plus coffee
I had the roast lamb and my partner the duck and both were cooked to perfection. We both chose the raspberry glacé and it was an excellent choice to finish off a perfect dining experience.

Used to come to Ye Horns Inn in the 1980s, shortly after my dad's job took our family down south to Bedford. 30 years later I wanted to revisit my childhood treats.
This pub is still the same as I remember, food is home made and top quality. The staff are so friendly but ever one in Lancashire is I miss it. It's a great pub very accommodating and just great.
I won't leave it so long next time and stay in one of the rooms. See you soon Ye horns inn.

An enjoyable meal in a traditional setting [?Tudor/Elizabethan]. Home cooked food of good quality and value, especially with a Dealmonster voucher. The service was also good.

Met two long time friends for lunch and the inn was some distance from Goosenargh but was found easily. The log fire was inviting and the landlord cheery and helpful. We ordered food and being home cooked it took about half an hour to arrive. Two of us had the Goosenargh duck one the salmon and one the fillet steak off the chalk board. We followed with hot raspberry with ice cream, peach Melba and the house favourite bread and butter pudding, all courses were well served and excellent quality, cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend and if in the area again would certainly call in for a meal.

Very much in a time warp - food was okay, prices were okay.
Probably not bother going again as it's simply not our type of pub/restaurant.
