Locally sourced ingredients prepared with inventive flair go into the Restaurant at The Lemon Tree menu. To start, there is duck and chestnut terrine with beetroot chutney and toasted corn bread, while hearty mains include black pudding-stuffed belly pork with sage mash, tender stem broccoli and roasted baby apple. On Sundays there are traditional roast dinners, as well as seafood options such as salmon fillet chowder with clams, mussels and a mini loaf.

Desserts at the Restaurant at The Lemon Tree in Wrexham include treats like blood orange and chocolate cheesecake with chocolate sorbet and burnt orange coulis. There is a great selection of craft beers and fine wines, while the afternoon teas are packed with indulgent options.

Planned a last minute get together at the lemon tree.I was very pleased with all aspects of the evening. We were greeted with a friendly waitress, and throughout the evening all staff were very attentive.
The food was excellent, all meals served looked appetising and tasted delicious.

The meal was very good, staff helpful. The main problem is always parking. Not many spaces. Had a very noisy child on the next table who cried throughout the meal so we didn't stay as long as we would normally.

It was really very good! The service was discrete but always available, the meal was fabulously presented and delicious. We were not over pressed by the staff and basically made to feel welcome. Only issue was parking. Not enough spaces!

The restaurant is unsophisticated. When we arrived we were invited to wait in the bar area and have some wine from the wine list. The minute it arrived our table was ready. Then we found the cocktail list. Food is good but not exceptional. Dessert was the best part of the meal. When my husband asked what the cheeses were on his cheese plate the waiter did not know but on finding out, opined that they were cheddar, edam and stilton. The so called edam was brie or camembert in appearance. Service is well intentioned but again unpolished. As a heterosexual married couple addressing us as "guys" doesn't do it for me. Quite pricey for Wrexham.
