I treated my sister to an "Afternoon Tea" at Ickworth Hotel for her 81st birthday so can only comment on the conservatory.Everything was good from the time we arrived to when we left and surpassed any other "Afternoon Teas" we had in the past, at other Hotels. I have to say, we didn't take in too much of the ambience because we were blown away by the personal service we received from start to end.All stops were pulled out for us as the staff entered into the spirit of the occasion.
At her age and failing health we may be unable to repeat it, but it will always be memorable. Congratulations and thanks to everyone.

Went for a afternoon tea for four of us at Ickworth Hotel, we were offered the tea of our choice, and also offered the afternoon tea for men, as it was fathers day, as well as a traditional afternoon tea. we did not know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised as the afternoon tea for men had mini burgers, scotch eggs chocolate donuts, and a small glass of beer, and more for the men, and all the traditional favourites for the afternoon tea for the ladies. we went for a birthday celebration so it made it even more special. we were very well looked after and had such a lovely afternoon it was perfect. We would like to say a very big thank you to the staff working on that day (Sunday 19th June) for making our afternoon as we hoped.:)

Great selection and quantity of afternoon tea platter. Lovely location in the conservatory overlooking the grounds of the house.

Afternoon tea was excellent in a beautiful conservatory overlooking the gardens. The hotel and location is superb. Only criticism would be that several families with very young children were having their early tea time in the same room. Maybe would be better if afternoon tea was served in a different.location within the hotel.

Lovely afternoon tea but spoiled by the ambience. Family with a noisy baby on the next table. Last stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago and was very disappointed to see how much it had changed.
Our visit was to view the hotel to see if it would be suitable for 10 ladies to book for a spa day to celebrate a 60th birthday. The lady we spoke to in the reception area had a poor command of English and was unable to answer our questions. This did not inspire us with any confidence and we decided not to book. Disappointed.
