Booked on line and allocated a table as requested, excellent service and two outstanding meals, would definitely return if ever in the area again. Five stars from us.

The pub is now a pub grub establishment. The non-craft beer (Ramsbury Gold) was very good. The quality of the food was good, however the menu is limited to pub grub selection on main courses. Some of the overall feel of the restaurant has been taken out since we last visited. Initial service was slow, and we were not asked if we would like a drink when we were shwon to the table. A mistake. It was a while until the order was taken after being seated. Most of the serving staff were friendly and helpful. Car park needs attention to prevent getting filthy shoes before entering the pub.

Together with friends we enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch. Each of us enjoyed our choice from the menu, followed by yummy puds and coffee. Will certainly visit again with high expectations of delicious food.
