Booked a table online for 12 which was easy process. On arrival to the restaurant, the staff were friendly and efficient and seated us at a table with plenty of room. Great value for 12 people. A mixture of some starters, mains, kids meals, desserts and drinks... Best deal being free drink refills and two for one meals. All the food was lovely... (beef and bean pit definitely a top choice along with the chicken and chorizo ring, fish and chips, steak pie...)
The staff were very attentive and pleasant. We will definitely book again.

Hi, we have been here at least a dozen times since last summer for family dinners, birthdays etc as it is so convenient and the food is always fabulous. I also meet my girlfriend's here once a month for lunch with kids. Me and my partner came last Saturday night for dinner and for the first time, I left disappointed. It was the service. Granted.... it was a Saturday tea time so busy but we ordered drinks and waited almost half an hour for them. The table who came in after us were served drinks and dinner order taken first. The staff were lovely and apologised. We got our starter eventually served which was popcorn chicken and onion rings but no side plates, kind of just plunked on table! So I asked a waitress passing by and she said no proble but we waited a further 10 minutes and by then, the sharing starter was almost finished. We ordered more drinks when they cleared our table and Main meals came, absolutely delicious we waited another further 25minutes for drinks. Again.... waitress apologised. Staff were all lovely but the service/ waiting around was a bit annoying. It won't put me off coming back but hopefully it was just a bad experience.

First we have dined at Ravens Cliff. We heard mixed reviews before our visit but thought try for ourselves. Food was hot and good, we had gammon steak and battered fish n chips. All good and the desserts are also good and a great choice.

Unhappy with this visit
It took 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive and then my daughters main course was wrong and by the time it was taken back and the correct dish brought back everyone else had finished their main course resulting in her not eating it and it having to be put in a box and brought home ??Then again she didn't eat it at home !!!

Overall dining experience? Not brilliant ! The Ravens cliff is a very clean welcoming place , the staff very friendly and ( at the beginning of the meal very attentive) 3 of us dined . my wife, son and myself . We ordered drinks , refillable Pepsi as we sat down . Our server was very friendly and took our food order after a few minutes . As it's Thursday it's steak night at the Ravens Cliff , I ordered one of the specials 12oz ribeye with peppercorn sauce my wife a chicken dish and my son a burger . After a few minutes our server came back , no ribeye ... on steak night ? At 1900hrs ? Poor planning . Ok I'll change it the mixed grill the steak medium ( not well done as our server asked ) . Again after a few more minutes she came back again , no chicken dish for my wife said she changed hers too . Our meals arrived . The mixed grill looked the part with the two fried eggs, one perfect one well over cooked . The steak , WELL DONE.( not medium as was asked twice ) all the mixed grill was over cooked charcoal, almost burnt . The sons burger the same . Was the chef in a hurry ? . Oh and still no peppercorn sauce ( but I did get charged for it ) The service was great at first then dissipated quickly . We will be back but Don't get me wrong I love the Ravens Cliff the food is normally excellent , but tonight ? I was left with a bad taste in my mouth in more ways than one.
