Please note, Radio Rooftop will be closed throughout the winter season, reopening in spring 2017.

Overlooking the Capital’s iconic sights, afternoon tea at Radio Rooftop Bar offers guests the chance to while away an afternoon viewing London’s historic and modern attractions from The Shard to The London Eye, Big Ben, and St Pauls Cathedral, whilst savouring traditional delights with a contemporary international twist.

The Skyline Afternoon Tea, a modern day interpretation of afternoon tea offers sandwiches such as croque-monsieur, compressed watermelon with feta and black olive tapenade and cucumber buffalo ricotta with black sesame seeds. To cleanse the palate between savoury and sweet, guests experience a liquid nitrogen frozen fruit sorbet with earl grey mousse and popping candy.

The final course of cakes and pastries includes a blend of traditional dishes such as lemon meringue pie, hazelnut opera, and passion fruit tart, with modern flavours such as lemongrass with apricot and pistachio cake, and a raspberry and lychee sandwich.

Found on the 10th floor of the swanky ME London, Radio Rooftop Bar sits a 7-minute walk from Temple Tube Station.

The service before the day was awful, calling me to confirm a booking which I tried to reply to but nobody answered the phone and your inbox was full so couldn't leave a message.
On the day trying to find where to find the way in to the bar was unclear, then nobody was at reception to greet us until 12pm (the actual time of my booking),then when we finally get to the bar the waiter had no idea about the detail of my booking at seated us in the bar area despite me telling him I'm there for afternoon tea.
Then we place a drinks order with him that wasn't carried over to the correct lunch menu once we finally got seated correctly so I had to re-order the drinks.
From there onwards the service was excellent

Stunning service. All staff were attentive and pleasant. The food was of great quality and the flavours and textures all worked together well. This is a high end afternoon tea and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. In addition to the stunning views of all the iconic buildings the weather was amazing which just made the experience even more memorable.

From the moment we stepped into the bar until we left, we felt well looked after. The smartly dressed staff were courteous and friendly and our waiter described what awaited us with enthusiasm and in some detail.
We'd given ourselves only 1and 3/4 hours for the whole experience and that was too short. We could've/should've stayed for the afternoon. We spent too long on the delicious first 'course', leaving insufficient time to linger over the ones that followed. But we asked for and were given a take away box.
The food was delicious, had lots of variety and was really well presented. We'd like to go back.

It was an amazing experience. Beautiful place firstly ! Every staff member was extremely attentive. I accidently knocked my cocktail over and was immediately given a new one with an extra petal :D food was amazing ! Wide selection - so much so that we couldn't finish anything. All in all well worth the money. I've been to a few afternoon teas but this by far is the best !
