Set in a converted former bank, Quod Restaurant & Bar serves British cuisine in a grand setting. Encircled by lush hedges, the parasol-dotted, heated courtyard offers secluded al fresco dining.
Taking inspiration from a host of European cooking customs, the eclectic Quod menu features dishes like tender lamb shank with soft polenta & caponata, or hake with spiced lentils. Mammoth pizzas at Quod in Oxford are piled high with sumptuous toppings, like Alsace bacon & sweet onions, or spicy Italian sausage with red peppers.
The British tradition of afternoon tea is honoured at Quod restaurant in Oxford, with freshly-cut sandwiches, homemade cakes and jam-smothered scones served alongside fine teas and bubbly flutes of champagne. The Quod cellar is stocked with many fine, predominantly French bottles.
Located on the High Street, Oxford Train Station is just a 4-minute drive away.

? Changed hands. Not as good as previously but still great and will go back often. Service superb. Great venue and ambience.

The restaurant is part of The Bank Hotel. It is very noisy because the bar is in the centre piece of the building. Its not for intimate dinning, more brassiere. On Saturday there was a middle aged 'hen party' next to our table. The food was good but not exceptional and some odd dishes. Ideal for trendy Oxford types.

A most enjoyable experience! All our dishes were beautifully presented and really delicious. We were shown great consideration and attention by our very kind waitress.

Easy to book. Our entire party - from fussy carnivore to vegan all found something they really enjoyed! Excellent service, and not too expensive. Bit of a disappointment with champagne sorbet - which tasted like expensive snow - but the chocolate mousse was good!

The black current fool had too much sugar. It was too sweet
