We had afternoon tea for two and it was very very nice, plenty for two people a struggle to finish it all off but as it was so nice we forced ourselves to do so.

Good for business meetings. Menu limited but adequate.

Three of us girls booked for afternoon tea. The service was excellent. We stayed for drinks afterwards and the cocktails were some of the best I have tasted. Barman knows his stuff. This hotel bar is a little gem and glad we found it. Tea was good - more clotted cream and proper jam would be even better.

Nice cosy area with comfortable seating. Service was ok but a little slow and inattentive. The sandwiches, scones and pastries were all very pleasant apart from the exceptionally hot mustard with the ham! They had no egg mayo sandwiches but did provide some cheese and tomato ones when requested for my younger daughter.

Excellent service. The woman at the bar kept an eye to keep our table as neat as possible. She was wonderfully attentive. The sandwiches in the Afternoon Tea were somewhat disappointing. There was almost nothing between the 3 bread slices, meaning that they were basically bread with slight flavouring sandwiches. Quite unpleasant. If the food had been better, I would be raving about the experience.

Booked table for 2 afternoon teas. Decided to have just 2 cream teas instead. Both having English Breakfast tea so 1 pot was delivered - with just 1 tea bag!!! Then we were told there weren't any fruit scones just plain. When scones arrived they were very unremarkable but the worst was the liquid jam which had hardly and flavour. As it was supposed to be arrest for my companion I was pretty rmabarrased and in fact we left 1 scone because the whole thing was just too awful. And I paid £22 for the experience!

Was a nice afternoon tea. I would personally change to more sandwiches and less cake, but overall we enjoyed it.

We simply used it as a meeting point to catch up with friends and we had a light snack in the Bar area. The food was great, the staff were attentive and we would use it again.

Treated my mum to afternoon tea for Mother's Day. Really lovely restaurant, staff couldn't be more friendly or accommodating despite being very busy.
Afternoon tea was lovely and the scones in particular were to die for!
