Food was average. Nothing great. It's fairly quiet so nice place to sit and talk. Juice was fresh but would not recommended for food. Service was slow even though it wasn't busy.

I'd highly recommend the Macaroon cocktail!

Very dissatisfied with the price for the afternoon tea, over priced drinks form the bar, that's why we went to the bar next door.

Very nice and chic environment. The afternoon tea food selection was very good and well presented.

Good for business meetings. Menu limited but adequate.

Three of us girls booked for afternoon tea. The service was excellent. We stayed for drinks afterwards and the cocktails were some of the best I have tasted. Barman knows his stuff. This hotel bar is a little gem and glad we found it. Tea was good - more clotted cream and proper jam would be even better.

Nice cosy area with comfortable seating. Service was ok but a little slow and inattentive. The sandwiches, scones and pastries were all very pleasant apart from the exceptionally hot mustard with the ham! They had no egg mayo sandwiches but did provide some cheese and tomato ones when requested for my younger daughter.

Excellent service. The woman at the bar kept an eye to keep our table as neat as possible. She was wonderfully attentive. The sandwiches in the Afternoon Tea were somewhat disappointing. There was almost nothing between the 3 bread slices, meaning that they were basically bread with slight flavouring sandwiches. Quite unpleasant. If the food had been better, I would be raving about the experience.
