We ate here on a Friday night and it was very busy but with a good atmosphere. However service was very slow, we had to wait over an hour for our pizzas and the waitress was grumpy - not a smile or any effort to appear interested! Food was excellent when it did arrive.

Service was very slow, the food was fine once it arrived.

Waited over 45 minutes to get drinks and then only got them after a member of our group enquired when our order would be fulfilled. As the drinks took so long to arrive our order for food was also delayed. Did not have a wait long for food arrive but it was mediocre. One person did not think she received the meal she asked for, another said that she had ordered the same meal on several previous occasions, but the meal she had yesterday was very disappointing.

Although the food was to the usual prezzo standard the serving and the waiters skills need to be severely upgraded. For a £50.00 meal for 2 I would have expected a much better experience. My daughter and I lost count of how many plates, cups, glasses were dropped that night. That waiter should have been sent home. Everyone has bad days but it was ridiculous. He almost dropped a plate on a diners lap! To boot we had to chase up our drinks when a second round was ordered and although there were still quite a few diners left they decided to start moving the furniture about which was not a quiet experience! We will never go to this prezzo again.

The service wasnt very good, had to wait for ages for our drinks, waiter had forgot them! Meal was good, but waiters weren't very friendly no one came to ask if we were alright the whole time we were there, luckily we werent in a hurry to leave as waiters never asked if we would like anything else or the bill after we had finished our dessert. I have never been and felt welcomed there.

The food was excellent as always but the service was very poor as it is always when we visit here. You wait too long between courses and there is not enough staff to cope properly when it is really busy. We have also dined at the one at Bury St Edmunds and the service there is a million times better. The staff at Stowmarket have never be able to provide an excellent service from the day it opened.

We waited an hour for our food after chasing them twice and not being told anything. Then when the manager and waiter came over they tried to upside us to cancel the meal as the chef was ill! We said no we wanted our food and waited. Then we order desserts after eventually getting our meals asking how long they said 10 minutes it was 40 minutes all together we wait an hour and 50 minutes for food!!!

The chicken and asparagus risotto bore no resemblance to a risotto. It was a tasteless, gloopy sauce with bits of precooked rice and some veg - more a savoury rice pudding than a dish of carefully cooked rice grains. Very poor. The pumpkin tortelli would have been quite nice but the pasta was still leathery from undercooking. Overall, I think we've parted company with Prezzo.
