Booked on line for the £9.95 2 course special menu from drop down box. Got an e mail confirmation , advising us of the £9.95 special 2 course menu and confirming date and time of booking. Got a follow up email advising of free bottle of prosecco with voucher code. Arrived for booking , advised we had voucher code for prosecco , bottle was brought, asked for special menu to be told that not available. Deputy manager arrived to say that that was to start on Monday , could not say why we had been able to book for it online , when not available, said he would sort it out. We selected 2 starters , calamari and bruschetta. The mains we selected versuvio and margarita pizza. Nice , nothing special. Bill arrived we were charged for everything including the free bottle of prosecco, after speaking to them twice , eventually it was sorted out. Why were we allowed to book for the special menu if not available , why were we charged for prosecco and why was it not sorted before bill arrives at table. Will we return , no probably not which is a shame , but all in all it left a sour taste and we don't like to treated as fools.

Great choice and very accommodating of my nut allergy - offering alternatives and changes.
Staff were really friendly and welcoming

Unfortunately my husband's pizza was quite raw around the outside. We did tell the waitress and she said that she would pass our comments on to the chef. We noticed other customers' pizzas were the same. The middle of the pizzas seemed to be cooked but again raw around the edges. We were then overcharged for drinks even though someone had come over to confirm we would be paying an extra £11.0 which was fine. When we received the bill it was for £16.48. We got this resolved but it has put a doubt on whether we would go back again. I have been before a few times and never had any problems.

Service was very slow and we had another table's meals added on to our bill. Food was good as usual.

Service was great, food good but no asparagus tips in the risotto & pannacotta not set but still tasty. Sat near the windows with a good outlook but a bit chilly.

Slow service but food ok when it did arrive. Flatbread starter was a bit overpriced for what it was. Pasta alright but nothing special. Good size portion though.

Good service. Good location. Cost of food slightly too high (not able to use voucher on a Saturday) and 'light' options more expensive than standard meals.
Use this restaurant and two in York regularly. Very happy with overall experience.
