Booking was simple on line especially as it was for Carnival night. They coped well with my follow up telephone calls adding more people and then on the day itself my having to cancel 2 due to an emergency hospital admission. We arrived 45 minutes early for our table, no problem, table was ready. We told the waiter we did not want to be rushed and wanted to enjoy our drinks before looking at the menus, no problem, he returned just when the drinks and first bottle of wine had disappeared, perfect timing to take our orders! Our food and further drinks arrived in good time not rushed, as did our mains and further drinks (yes we were making the night of it!) The food was delish, starters were Calamari, crab cakes, goats cheese, all proclaimed super, mains varied between pasta, pizza and beef/rocket salad all very tasty, a couple tried deserts if my memory recalls (thru the alcohol haze) they were Nutella and banana something or other with ice cream, totally sweet and sickly and enjoyed every bite also coffees. The staff were brilliant on one of the busiest nights of the year, so much better than last year, good friendly helpful staff can make or break your evening. Prezzo thank you and your staff so much for a wonderful night of great food and service in a truly wonderful building.

fantastic venue ,the architecture of the building is beautiful. The food was nice, although i feel the calamari starter is over priced ,my wife had a regular pizza which she struggled to cut as the knifes were blunt, her hands were aching at the end of her meal.A pizza wheel would have been helpful.Draft beer was advertised but none was available.

Nice welcome and table allocated quickly. No cloth on our table, though some others had white table cloths on them. Beautiful building , but rather noisy. Service slightly slow and waitress leaned across us when serving and removing plates interrupting our conversation. Food good. Baked mushrooms, excellent. Apple juice delicious. Lasagne good, garlic bread poor, was nan not bread and soggy. Pollo with spaghetti (changed to penne at my request) was rather peppery but very nice, not much chicken in the dish though. Toilets were not up to standard. Disabled unavailable, upstairs two out of four toilets were unusable and paper ran out in one of the others. Don't like unisex toilets as men sometimes 'drip' on the seats. Not good that men have a longer wait for use either, when they have to queue up with the women. Shorter queue for women if there were no men in the queue. 8/10 for food 2/10 for toilets

We were visiting Bridgewater for the weekend as we were going to the carnival and Dined here on Friday 6th & Saturday 7th November. Small problems on Saturday night but it was very busy as it was carnival night. Initially the wrong order was brought over to us - meant for another table - but this was soon rectified. The Italian burgers ordered by 2 of our table had the prosciutto missing. This was queried with a waitress but she did nothing about it. After our meal this was again raised and dealt with appropriately. Overall enjoyed both of our evenings.

I can never fault the food but service is always really slow

The food was good and there was lots to choose from which is good. The service was quite slow and this was surprising as it was not really busy. The restaurant is in a lovely building and is a pleasant place to enjoy the architecture as well as enjoy a meal. The waitress was asking the right questions but not really paying attention to the answers and it took us three times to get the drink right that we ordered. The food was hot when it came and we all enjoyed our meal in the party of 4.

The restaurant was cold, food orders were wrong, missing, cold and didn't arrive together. The starters went back as they were cold and the main ( risotto was terribly over cooked. It was 2 and a half hours before we got our main meal, we had small children with us they were not offered their drink with meal and it was to late to let them have their puddings. The whole experience was shocking !!! They did give us some free drinks but we had to ask for discount as we were so unhappy. They did agree to this.
Very disappointed :(
