    I booked a table for myself and 2 friends on a Thursday evening. The manager called me up during the day to say they had unfortunately had an issue in the kitchen and couldnt host us for food. I have been before for cocktails so decided to still go along. We were warmly welcomed and even had a complimentary round of cocktails. ( I have to say the Whisky Sour was something special).
    We then had some Prosecco which we thought was extremely good value for the taste and the staff rustled us up a cheese board with a great selection.

    Lovely bar area with very friendly staff. Excellent cocktails which were interesting to watch being made and tasted fantastic. Dining area was beautiful and quiet, my father has a hearing impairment and so this was important to us so that he doesn't have to strain to hear me. The food was excellent: I had the clams to start which were very refreshing and then the sea bass which was cooked to perfection. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

    Great decor, service ok but not brilliant . Food was great, we went for brunch and ordered a vegetarian breakfast and the eggy bread, bacon and maple syrup. Both looked and tasted brilliant .

    Great service but the food was just ok. It was £3.50 for a tiny pot of avocado on the side and it was a bit gross. The rest was really nice though and a nice building.

    Food was great. The boar and rabbit rocked. The abalone mushroom was really good but maybe some that could be served as a side rather than a main.
