Following the success of the acclaimed POLPO in Soho, Russell Norman brings POLPO to Notting Hill. Signature Venetian small plates are served in a laidback setting, amidst exposed brickwork and tin ceilings.
Reminiscent of Venice’s charming backstreet restaurants, POLPO specialises in Italian small plates and signature spritzers. Hand-rolled meatballs, freshly-stretched pizzettes and colourful salads head up the POLPO menu, and favourite creations include cuttlefish & squid ink risotto with gremolata, or pork jelly with apricot and sage. For dessert, culinary innovations include Campari panna cotta, or ricotta doughnuts with cinnamon sugar.
POLPO in Notting Hill also serves an artisan brunch menu, with breakfast cocktails, pastries and fresh juices served alongside dishes like nutritious scafata with poached eggs, and sourdough with wild garlic, mushrooms and ricotta. Accompanying a selective wine list is a list of classic POLPO cocktails.
Bringing Italian charm to London, POLPO Notting Hill is a 2-minute walk from Notting Hill Gate Tube Station.

Booking service was efficient. Food all came at different times. The cinnamon doughnuts were good. They were keen to clear the table of all the placemats etc. whilst we were still enjoying our coffee. Lacked ambiance.

Great restaurant. Staff are really accomodating and offered us a choice of seating areas for our party of 4. We felt very comfortable at the restaurant. It is a great space to catchup with friends, have work meetings. Would highly recommend.
Food is great - lots of veggie options - and a variety of specials.

Had a Sunday lunch, the classic and chickpea meatballs were great as usual. Tried the griddled polenta for the first time, and it was very nice. Service was quite laid-back but we were not in a rush, so it was just fine. We were delighted to see that they're a dog-friendly place.

Polpo has managed that shift from funky little niche restaurant to mini-chain with grace. The food remains fresh, tasty and well presented. I love the pizette and the fennel salad - and the caffe affogato is always a hit. The decor is fine - although the space was a bit too large & cavernous for my taste

Fantastic food (I especially loved the chilli prawns, and the vegetarian meatballs), tasty cocktails and excellent staff! Such a lovely restaurant, with lovely people to match!
