Music was too loud and thumpy ,unsuitable for Mother's Day! On request waiter changed it but was equally loud just less thumpy.
Mother's Day menu was good, service was friendly but our side of potatoes came late although very lovely waiter gave my partner a free glass of red glass, reacting with great humour to my partner's ribbing!Loos are poor, need a redecorate
Overall an enjoyable experience enjoyed by mother so mission accomplished!

Fab food, good value, lovely atmosphere - lively but not too loud.
Great gin martini and varied wine selection

Food was tasty and good menu selection as always. Service was a little inattentive.

Had the lunch set menu. It was fairly cheap at £13 but you got what you paid for. A plateful of battered deep fried vegetables to start as the "antipasto misto"" and then a very small plate of overcooked spaghetti with no sign of the seafood it was supposed to contain for a main. Small tiramisu pot for pudding was fine but unremarkable.

Rustic ambiance that suited the menu. The food was excellent and the service was good enough.

But we were booked for 1330 not 1300 as stated in the diary- good job we arrived early. But it was good. The food as usual was exellent - although some dishes were over salty. The beef was melt in the mouth.

Being of mature years we were given high stools which I was not happy with - and there were lots of empty tables. So I do not know why were were on high stools

Although I appreciate how lighting creates atmosphere , the lack of light made it hard to read the menu- perhaps slightly larger candles.

    Otherwise fine.

Food excellent. Waiters excellent, tho' no apology received for having to remind them twice about one dish ordered but not delivered, and then it was delivered at the end of the meal! Nevertheless we paid the 12.5% tip because service was otherwise very good.
